I saw these guys in Illinois in 2003. We went to a show to see Don't look Down, but fell in love with The Matches and the Plain White T's who were there....and no one knew who those 2 bands were! It was a school night and I got in trouble for being out too late, lol, but we hung out with 'em for a long time! great guys! glad to see they are doing so well!

Dude, when I went to Warped Tour '04, I was going to see Guttermouth, but they had left or gotten kicked off, so the Matches took their slot, and they played a show on this little like...10x10 foot grassy area. They put down some boxes for like, a barrier or something, but my friend and I were able to sing with Shawn on a bunch of the songs, and while they only got an audience of like, 20 people, it was the best show of the whole day. And the most raw and real one too. I'll never forget it.
