I was late to this party. Saw The Mavericks a couple weeks ago with Dwight Yoakum. Eddie Perez and Eugene Edwards inspired me that night. Picking up my Tele again after a long illness. Thank you Mr Perez. You are a true inspiration and a serious 6 string gunslinger

I’ve watched this 50 times I’m sure....and for the first time noticed Max (the sax) in the background playing TWO instruments at the same time. These guys are such great musicians....every single one of them. Most of them (or maybe all) can play multiple instruments. Kudos to Raul Malo for pulling together such a talented group of musicians. I know they have transitioned people over the years, but the current group of Mavericks and sidemen (I think of ALL of them as Mavericks) is just incredible. I hope to see them live many more times in the years to come. Best “show” band I’ve ever seen. They have so much fun and the audience does too.

I'm a gigging professional musicial for 60 years. Just saw this group for the first time at the botanical Gardens in denver. wow! You cant sit still when these guys are playing. What a well rounded group. Each player has his perfect spot. raul can sing it all. Loved it! I'll be back.....Oh, Now I've got 16 songs of the Mavericks that I'm doing in my act. I love it. The audience loves it!

I have been looking for an adjective to describe how I think this group puts over their entertainment. They are so COMFORTABLE in what they are presenting to us that they make it look easy and that equates to what we are seeing and hearing. I am in love with this and them. I have just found them.

Great lead guitar player. When I watch the Mavericks, it's Eddie I'm paying the most attention to. He's a show unto himself. He seems to understand perfectly the role of a lead guitar player, and I love watching him do his thing on stage. Keep up the good work Eddie. Damn nice work on the guitar. A great band. I think I have been back here a dozen times to watch this and listen to the great tunes. Eddie and Malo work good together and have taken the band to a new and better level. One of the overlooked players in the set is the squeezbox, the guy works it!

They're coming to Cincinnati in a few weeks. I've listened to them since their Flordia days early 90s. This will be my first time actually getting to go to one of their concerts. I'm so excited I have dreams at night that they put on a concert at my house......lol! Can't wait to see these guys for real. They have never put out one bad song!!!

Some people try to put a brand on The Mavericks, that would be like trying to limit Elvis to one brand of music, when in truth, Elvis could and did sing it all. I have found you can't brand The Mavricks, they can do Latino, Old Country, New Country, you name it they do it. I have yet to hear anything they do that is not terrific.
