The Mayan Ruins in Coba Mexico are the TALLEST in the Yucatan Peninsula

2 жыл бұрынVisiting the Coba Mayan Ruins in the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico is one of my favorite things to do near Tulum. They also have the tallest pyramid "Nohoch Mul", which was accessible to climb very recently. Located only an hour from Tulum, these Mayan ruins are vast and are very cheap to enter. With a beautiful jungle surrounding the ruins, it is a great place for exploring, sightseeing, and learning some history.

Sites like this really are so much better when they're hidden away from in reclaimed forests! It adds so much mystery to the area! And keeps it much more of a hidden gem compared to other sites!

Agreed! It also wasn't too touristy when we came in the morning, and it wasn't too hot yet. It definitely had that mysterious feeling as well!

I climbed that back in 2008 it scared me to death ha ha wasn't to bad going up but coming down was dodgy... brilliant post mate you've brought back some distant memories

@@WanderlustWellman Yes, my best friend and I want to travel to Mexico for the first time. Not until the summer, but I like to plan beforehand 😅 Because Mexico just has so much to offer!
