The 2:10 mark features discussion of the Winnipeg Jets’ 1st 2024 draft pick and a claim of that team’s lack of “puck-moving ability, especially on the blue line.“ After nine straight playoff games during which the Jets have allowed at least four goals, I couldn’t agree more with that claim of Harrison Lee.

Habs was about to offer 5th for Rutger + Jet 25 1st and 2nd or 3rd, but when Demidov was available at 5th, the offer was off table. Habs also offered 21st + Barron for Rutger, but was rejected by Jets. Wild also was about to offer 13th for Rutger, 1 to 1, but when Buium was avaiable at 12th, the offer was called off.

We need size on the back end to get the puck back in our own end instead of having 6 goalies. We wouldn’t have to play the fortress in our end if we could win some puck battles

Rutger McGroarty to the Habs for Logan Mailloux would be a pretty great trade for both. Our team needs a Right Shot Defenceman and Mailloux is that dude. Personally, I would love that trade alot.

dont think the Habs do that 1 for 1 sorry if at all. Habs abundance of dmen is on the left side. Mailloux still in the running as top rightside 1st pairing for the future. Very hard to trade for top 4 dmen
