Hallelujah, may God give them many years of restful and healthy retirement. I am so happy I got to see them one last time this year. They have served the Lord for decades. Their music has been used by God to bless me through my life.

I went to their concert one time and paid extra to sit in the “shoe slinging” section. I caught both of Pegs shoes and had her sign them.

I can’t believe the amount of people recording with their phones 🤦🏼‍♂️ you’re at the final concert of the Mckameys and you’re gonna sit on your phone the whole time instead of soaking it up and enjoying it? They’ll have a video and cd of it eventually, they wasted the evening holding a phone instead of rejoicing and praising God!

They didn’t record the concert. I was there, and it was alarming seeing how many were recording or doing Facebook live. However, I look to this as an opportunity to revisit this experience.

I agree with you. I maybe could understand wanting to have a memory to revisit visually later,but I think I would more prefer the memory in my heart. Experiencing all the joy of the presence of the Spirit.(Actually,just looking at the excitement and joy bubbling forth from Peggy has you already,I think,before the singing even begins.😁. I think she and Jimmy Swaggart are two people I would have liked to see put together in a concert. It would probably be totally crazy,since they both have a style all their own. I think the musicians would lose them.Praise God and bless their hearts.😄😇) Maybe also its that I am one of those who forget abt cameras via cell phones most times and all they can do.( makes me think now also of this habit of taking pics of persons in the coffin at funerals. Why? Look at them but treasure the memories in your head and heart,I say).
