A national flag is an important symbol for most countries, and to better understand a country and its culture, we must examine what the different features of its flag represent for its land, people, and government.
These Caribbean flags, which are made into national icons are more than just a symbol, but a way for each island nation to portray itself to the rest of the world because their design and colors symbolize the country’s identity, values, beliefs, and history in different ways and Hold much significance in the hearts and soul of citizens with the ability to unify their people around common causes that they hold true to themselves.

Guyana's is called the Golden Arrowhead because it's literally the head/tip of an arrow 🇬🇾🇬🇾 which is also a recognition of the indigenous population of the country.

Very nice video. I am from Dominican Republic, our flag was made for: Maria Trinidad Sanchez, in our coat of Arm also has the Bible, open in The Gospel of Jhon: you know the truth and with the truth you will be free. It is the only flag in the word that have the Bible.

I think all Caribbean countries must unite into one nation United Caribbean Union even if all their sports teams join and work together. They also must become United Caribbean Cruise for all their passenger ships even going to Miami Florida.

Correction Sir, The Yellow Is the Kallinago Natives, and the black is the soil, and sand in the Dominica Flag. Not the Black natives , and yellow soil.

😐🇹🇹y was Trinidad last!!🤨our high intelligence & creativity puts us first! Trinidad is a black country, the Indians & Asians overstayed their forefathers "Indenture servitude". They strategically erased the black native tribes of "🇹🇹Tar-cobian". The Venezuela tribes (arawaks, caribs, & tainos) refered to ancient Trinidad as "Shadow island" and "The (pitch lake) Tar people". As noted in mansa's Abu bakr's notes, it mentions him seeing black tribes on his voyage to the "Dream world". He brought many gold to "🇹🇹Tarcobia". When the Spaniard leader Antonio de berrio heard of it, he set sail in search of "The mythical land of gold". The truth will be revealed!!

As a Trini. I disagree w the statement tht Trinidad is a Black country. .I disagree. There are many heavily mixed pple there, including Asian, Indian, African/Black, native indians,Chinese. All exsist in many circles from top to bottom. Ah jus' sayin wot a hav toh say.

More attention must be paid to the correct pronunciation of the names of people and places, especially the name Caribbean. The word has one ' r ' and two ' b's ' not the other way.

I love the flags that pay homage to God and/or Christianity. The Belize flag for example. How honorable and thoughtful. Well done! I’m Jamaican and wished it for our flag in the very near future. How did we miss that opportunity on our flag to honor the God of ALL CREATION? We got it right in the Jamaica National Anthem which begins, ‘Eternal Father, Bless our land….’ In the latter part of the anthem we acknowledged God in the words, ‘….Heavenly Father’. I think there needs to be an adjustment as such on our Jamaican flag. After all we are dust without the Father and hopeless without His Son Jesus Christ. Let’s show on a new version of our Jamaican flag who we collectively are as a people, a God-fearing people whom He sent to save mankind from sin. In the meantime, I pray all Jamaican become true God-fearing people who can coexist in peace and love and STOP THE BLOODSHED in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit in Jesus’s name. Some of us in the diaspora want to return home which would bring financial gain to Jamaica but even Jamaicans in Jamaica are trying to escape the beautiful island tourists worldwide love to enjoy. Jamaicans, if you don’t your souls to suffer in HELL it is wise to REPENT THROUGH CHRIST JESUS AND STOP THE WICKEDNESS. Venezuela, Colombia, Panama, Nicaragua Guatemala and Costa Rica ....from the poi nts of view geographic and historically should be parts of the Great Caribbean Nation
