Fr. Maximos Constas, who is Senior Research Scholar at Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology, offered a lecture at Notre Dame Seminary on "The Meaning of Icons." He focused on the meaning and function of icons in the Orthodox Church, with special attention to their artistic features and theological meaning, including the Orthodox understanding of creation and Christology.
