@@BillionaireHustleMindset I’m 61. Noel’s alright. He’s not that special as a person. A thoroughly good man, I’ve no doubt, but that’s not uncommon. He’s impressive as a musician. For me, really unusual people who see life & the world differently from others would include Ian Brown.

looks like he was madly in love with her. and when you are, i don’t think it just ends like that after 22 years…i’ve always wondered whether they really both fell out or it was just sara’s fault. the lyrics noel wrote for her are timeless love. also the fact that noel’s lyrics in council skies and (reportedly) in the upcoming album are about heartbreak suggest he’s not over her yet

Growing up in a southern Baptist church in the heart of the Bible belt (Texas), I've encountered SO many people who could really learn a thing of two from this interviewer. At NO point is Noel on the defensive. Why? Because there's not a SHRED of judgement coming from the man asking the questions. He doesn't have any sort of agenda. He's not on some mission to save Noel. He's not trying to passive-aggressively PREACH at Noel. He's just simply asking questions. Love it!

Ah Gay Byrne, my Nan's favourite. Home from school for a cup of tea (laced with a drop of Tullamore Dew in the winter!) and the Late, Late Show on the telly. I went to St. Kent's, I think there were possibly three or four other Blues in the whole year. All Irish and Reds otherwise. My dad is English so I have him to thank for being a Blue. It was a bloody slog for many a year but all the more sweeter for it now! St Kent's social club was fantastic. Very sadly Chorlton Irish went into decline and now no longer there and boarded up. They'd have the dodgy streams on and there'd only be myself and a couple of pals and the dear old bar lady watching City in there towards the end. Some would call it progress but I would beg to differ, from my experience the heart of south Manchester was always Irish and Caribbean.

First time saw this blown away by Noel! Doesn’t feel sorry for himself at all even though he should a bit maybe? But it all comes out in his music? I don’t know how these student critics make out his music has no emotional depth but ‘paranoid android’ does. Noel’s music can mean anything you want it to but it normally makes you feel like everything will be ok and your ok and no ones better then you. I can’t think of any other band/artist that writes songs like that? Not Dylan,Lennon/Macca (Maybe hey Jude),Cobain,Jagger,Richards,Hendrix,Weller, morrisey marr,Martin,Yorke,Ashcroft,Bowie (Maybe heroes) etc. Sounds like hyperbole I know but he really deserves more respect though I do wish he wouldn’t over produce everything and put more guitars on 😉

I feel the talent shows have had their day thankfully, I’m with you on that one, if they “Oasis, Noel or Liam” inspire anyone to play, make and write top songs the. That’s brilliant.
