This is a fantastic message. I myself got tired of the tradional way 'modern man' relies completely on the doctor so I I have been studying Dietaty and Herbal Holistic treatments cure a disease that conventional doctors (Specialists) are still trying to learn about. in 2001. So far I have amazed some doctors who took tests monitoring me and are seeing a steady improvement .I believe that the answers are within ourselves and that through study and Gods' help that I can have health in all areas.

A few years ago I was talking to a person who chose traditional Pagan ways for his spiritual quest. He told me about the circle with a cross in the middle as a Pagan symbol (adopted by the Christian faith. Both symbols (apparently) came about independant of the other and the directions were 90 degrees off from on another. I thought that was pretty amazing.

thank you so much for your information, my gr. grandmother was full blooded native am. but we lost our tribe in oklahoma city where they gathered the indians. I find this information awesome, for 1 I always wondered what the medicine wheel meant & another that I do believe we have to take an active role in healing ourselves, you wouldnt know of any herbs for lyme disease & the many spirichete diseases i was given by a tick bite over 23 yrs ago, & 1 is like maleria. I just found a chinese 4th generational healer that I use to see her gr. father just if not feeling well. I was cured by chinese med. in only 1 mo from late stage endometriosis after 6 yrs & 6 surgeries & 2 were by best surgeon in usa. I am drawn to learning more about the native american ways of healing also, since it lives in me as well & can even travel throough dimensions now, also use animals as symbols & have had several that always lived by me no matter where i have been except in downtown chicago for a yr, working as an interior designer but after horse back riding in shawnee natl forest that surrounds my parents land I had a blood blister & did not get sick for 6 mos except for a few days of occasional fever. I also find myself making indian art just in my own way, using a tree branch bones, feathers & colored round glass. for some reason i feel it is protective. I also live near the shawnee natl forest now, i use to live by the superstition mtns, always by indian land for some unknown reason. My gr. father looked almost exactly like black hawk, my father has a lot of native am. ways, not even telling anyone but me, like they gorgious canyon they own that is truly native am. he one day said shush the water is whispering to us. He will even go down to the canyon just to get away from my mother & have peace. lol I would love to build a natural home on top of the canyon someday. thank you so much for you video, which i already knew all these things about the healing but not the other things.

I remember reading a book a while ago by Ed McGaa Eagle Man and he had observed the similarities between symbolism, jewelry, spiritual ideas of the celts and the native tribes of America. @salmonfire Beloved Brother, I hear you think it's a false religion, but that's like saying that medicine itself is false. The river of dreaming is for all of us, just because it's a reflection what lies upon our hearts drive us to remember the GREAT DREAM. The Jews lost all tradition and had to relearn this knowledge. This great teaching is what lies upon the heart for the Sioux. Trusting the soul wisdom rather than trusting the flesh wisdom gifts us eternal knowledge. Wbcw embraces

I just thought it would be interesting to point this out ,, a very recent mainstream film frozen 2, the story-writers signed a contract with the "Sami" of Scandinavia, most consider it a children's film but it reflects some layers deep below the surface using mirror storytelling. Many adults and children as well internally recognized the essence elements of this spawing some rather deep dailog on very real historical issues we face when it comes to "seeing" each other., the Sami have there own unique cultural identity "but' share a lot of the same essence roots ,, the films essence references to "The Voice" at the center of the wheel and the lead charters journey of discovery to re-connect with these roots are quite interesting to see, Take a look at the examples reflected in the films music..like "Show yourself" kzfaq.info/get/bejne/d6mcg9iVs9iacaM.html

Ameen as you've said earlier 'no siuch as "black" ' for colour of people and I would add erroneous for race. This Doctor's interpretation of the Native American medicine wheel on race is his own, a modernised invention. That's an antiquated labeling of people of African origin by Brits and European colonialists(in general) do to it's symbolic spiritual meanings which they taught as meaning "black "for evil, impure, unholy, subpar, and "white" for pure, holy, perfection, superior. They've picked up that idea from their spiritual teachings and so applied it to the dark(er) skinned people as black. Those labels were used to be divisive, and to justify their idea to divide and conquer, and enslave the indigenous peoples of the lands now called Africa, India, Australia, and the Americas. The indigenous peoples of the Americas couldn't be completely controlled by enslavement and were able to mostly retain their identities, except for some but do not adhere to themselves as "black" unlike most of the aboriginals of Australia, many of Africa, and many Indians (India), and many(or most) African Americans (including those of mixed 'blood' w/African decent). This is my perspective after study and thought, part of the medicine I have learned. Aho mitakuye oyasin.

through intermarriage the races have blended as i heard on a native american youtube post. That is the spanish married natives and this became hispanic race, which is between the colors of medicine wheel (a blend),and a large number of people.. There is intermarriage amongst many of the nations, yet the numbers of people produced seems not to have reached enough people to make up a race. Like some nations are only 0.02 in entire country. So even if blended are not called a new distinct race being the numbers are too few. Not opinion- as explained to me by a youtube native american, and a bit of deduction on small populations.

To: Plains Indians: Thanks for describing things in this harmonious circle way. And middle eastern people what color are blended color on medicine wheel are they represented? If there isn't ans. that's ok.?
@ispi05
@ispi05 7 жыл бұрын
Hi i wish i could add image here of both the beautiful cover of the book, and one of the medicine wheel charts in this interesting book- that could show what viewing- from Seven Arrows written by the Plains Indians (the book given to me as a gift), the medicine wheel is diverse, varying to directions, seasons, gifts, etc. i am inquiring to only one of the medicine wheel charts. The chart shows distinct colors. Colors are from rays, technically called color chart. In medicine wheel symbolism- representing many things on medicine wheel. Joel Fry may have better ans.
@ispi05
@ispi05 7 жыл бұрын
i don't see a way to add image here. I was making an inquiry to a viewed diagram as shown in Seven Arrows by the Plains Indians- a book given to me as a gift. However i will describe some of the description regarding white color- north, air/wind, cedar, winter, spiritual health, white- white people, elders, grandparents. On said medicine wheel (diagram) are descriptive words of white color in notth. However the medicine wheel is diverse- and means other things too, elements, gifts, etc. For a better ans. read Joel Fry. From what i read the colors also combine- i do see colors on the medicine wheel as symbols. The medicine wheel is not completely white or black. I am not color blind. Colors are from the rays.
@ispi05
@ispi05 7 жыл бұрын
e.g. if i could show the image in the north these descriptions on one of the medicine wheel is as follows- the chart is white. North, air/wind, cedar, winter, spiritual health, white, white people, elders, grandparents. Another one may be the animals.

Doubtful, sounds like your tinkering with it's workings as well as seeing how far you can go spiritually and physically/ emotionally. Bare in mind all of the fassets of yourself are connected, and although it is good to exercuise them now and then, you yourself do still have breaking points, especially emotionally. You may want to try both ways and see which is better.

This simplistic rant is a quiet joke made by ''new age'' people, usually like this guy ….a mixed blood. There are for instance no neat categories of 4 races. Sadly we must live with these seekers of some kind of recognition who will probably prevail. We never (Indians ) created a written record, so many can say what they want. If of low character, I might make a good living on the charlatan talking circle. But this elder won't bow to level of these charlatans. chi- bohpeh !! chimoohkmahuk, optichigul measy mougit, kheenishkewulk !!

But Indigenous people of America’s were also African here over 100,000 years ago. Later native Americans who came 20,000 years ago (who people usually think of when mentioning native Americans due to media manipulation and purposeful miseducation) came from Asia. Many will tell you this themselves and tell you who were here before them. “Latinos” are a mix of African and Asians forcefully taken on by Europeans. These have been proven multiple different ways for over a century now
