That’s only if there is just one actor for Orin/Ensemble. They have to expand the cast for high school productions, especially for female actors.

@@giovannirastrelli9821 Yep, since the original show was only written for a cast of eight, the actor playing the Dentist doubles up as like 6 supporting characters throughout the show, including the three that appear in this number. The whole point is to have them remind Seymour of his first victim to bring out his guilt. It always confused me as to why they never have Mushnik's actor do the same. With larger casts, it's more logical to have said supporting characters played by an ensemble, as well as adding extra doo-wop girls (i.e. this production has six). This removes the guilt point, but at least it gives other people a chance.

He wasn’t *amazing* in this but in some of the other songs he performed he was amazing

I've seen far worse and on the topic of bad the Bernstein and Audrey 2 in this performance were far worse than the Seymore

As a high school Seymour (we open on Thursday and I’m so excited!), it could’ve been better but he’s not bad by any means. You can tell he’s not a singer but he’s not bad. In terms of his acting he’s pretty solid. Not amazing but definitely not bad
