The meeting of the three Kings took place on 18-19 December 1914, it was a meeting between the three Scandinavian Kings, Christian X of Denmark, Haakon VII of Norway and Gustaf V of Sweden. They met at the county residence in Malmö, Sweden, together with their respective foreign ministers, to discuss the outbreak of the First World War. In addition to dinners and solemn speeches, there were negotiations on economics, international law and issues that had to do with the war. The result was an agreement on a common line of neutrality.
A very similar meeting happened in 1939, after the outbreak of the Second World War. This time in Stockholm, and this time the President of Finnland, Kyösti Kallio, also attended.
