This is such a beautiful telling of the story of when John baptised Jesus. After hearing this, there at the very spot more or less, and then read Matt. ch14, it takes on a lot more meaning... John is beheaded, "Then they went and told Jesus...When Jesus heard it, He withdrew from there privately in a boat to a solitary place...." then here come the crowds, and ..."He had compassion for them and cured their sick" then the disciples say send them away to go eat, and Jesus says, ....

*Melchisedec order* God's interpretation in Hebrews 7 clearly reveals who Melchisedec is to the New testament saints. We don't have to follow the Genealogy of Melchisedec since the writer of Hebrews have started mentioning Melchisedec from Chapter 5 & 6 quoting from Psalms 110. Melchisedec is not a type of Christ but Christ is sworn and ordained after the order of Melchisedec by God in Psalms 110 in eternity. This prophetical ordination concerning Christ is again mentioned in Hebrews chapter 5:5 to the begotten Son of God, which is to say to the Resurrected Christ (Psalms 2:7 & Acts 13:33) The prophecy of Hebrews 5:6 concerning Christ gets fulfilled in Hebrews 6:19 & 20 as He entered within the eternal veil. Before entering Into the eternal veil, Jesus was the forerunner and in entering, God's eternal Ordination after the order of Melchisedec fulfilled. Today we've a mediator (Hebrews 8:6)who's with an excellent ministry established in better promises or prophecies (Psalms 110) Law, Levitical priesthood, Animal sacrifices & blood, brings no perfection but God's begotten Son who is after the order of Melchisedec as our High priest, mediator and intercessor(Hebrews 7:25 & 26) is able to save to the uttermost. Many excellent things are mentioned of Jesus Christ who is after Melchisedec's eternal order. God's prophecy in Psalms 2:7 and 110:4 was only for Christ alone which the Hebrews writer clearly highlighted in Hebrews 5:4. Begotten(Resurrected) Son of God is made a High priest after the order of Melchisedec and not the Apostles. Only the glorified Christ our forerunner after He entered into the eternal veil was made a high priest after the order of Melchisedec and not before that while Jesus was in earth (Hebrews 8:1-4). Hebrews 7:14-17, the scripture talks not only about the evidence, but yet far more evdient: for that after the similitude of Melchisedec ariseth after the power of an endless life another priest Jesus Christ, whom God testifieth after the order of Melchisedec. These verses confirmed that Melchisedec is the Holy Spirit. When Noah died, Shem was the new King & Priest in Jerusalem, (King of Peace), Abraham knew this as these men were of great age, if fact Shem was 447 when Noah died at 950 years. The generations from Shem to Abraham was 12 and were Arphaxad (348), Salah (314), Eber (285), Peleg (dead), Reu (223), Serug (192), Nahor (dead), Terah (135) & Abraham (66 years of age)... So its more likely the Lords that came to Abraham to disclose the baby news was most likely Shem Eber & Terah when Abraham was 100..

It is also important to know that Abram brought tithe to THE priest of the most High God, Melchezedek WITHOUT a command to do so. Heb. 7 says that the Levitical priests TOOK tithe of the people by commandment of the law. Melchizedek RECEIVED tithe. Abram brought it as worship & thanksgiving, resulting in the priestly blessing. If you tithe under the Levitical priesthood model, you WILL NOT get the priestly blessing.

Scripture teaches about the Only begotten Son of God clearly. Begotten Son of God isn't termed in the biological sense. Read the decree of God in Psalm 2:7 which is taught by the Apostles in Acts 13 :33-34 as raised / Resurrected / lifted up. Continue reading verse 35 which says, Thou shalt not suffer thy Holy One to see corruption. Verse 37 Begotten Son of God is preached by the Apostles, which means the raised Christ. Verse 38. In the gospel of John 3:14 Jesus Christ spoke about the Only begotten Son of God through the old testament prophetic verse. The Order of Melchizedek is The Church, Christianity.

So, according to Perry Melchizedek was from the tribe of Judah????? Newsflash Perry. There was no tribe of Judah yet, there was no Aaron yet, nor was Moses on the scene yet. This biblical story occurred during the time of Abraham. There was no people called Israel yet, nor was there the Law. Yet he is speaking as though all these people and tribes were living during this story. Things like this is why I don't put a lot of credence in what Perry Stone says. He does a lot of other similar things as well. I believe he is sincere and a Christian, but he has Asperger's syndrome and gets things mixed up all the time, including inserting things into the Bible that are not even there. I strongly advise any of his congregation or fan base to slow down and exercise discernment. One thing to watch out for is that he sometimes talks so fast his errors just blow right past you. You have to listen fast or you'll miss it. I'm not trying to tear anyone down. It's just you must use extreme caution when dealing with him. God Bless - Bob L.

I really appreciate you spreading the word of god. However, you said we are going through the millennium, only the ones who go through the tribulation and stand for Jesus and don't take the mark of the beast go through the millennium, just saying. :)

Melchizedek is not Christ. Melchizedek is not Shem. He was King of Jerusalem. His significance is to confirm that Christ was a priest by oath. I think this man means good but respectfully, he is incorrect. Abraham gave him a tenth part of all. That is a Kingly practice. Melchizedek is a type of Christ. Like Christ he is King and Highpriest. Salem is another name for Jerusalem Psalm 76:2. He was king of Jerusalem & Priest. Melchizede brings out wine and bread. Commemoration of the Christ on Cross. He receives tithes from Abraham. So he is greater than Abram. The one who receives tithes is greater. Now look at Psalms 110:1-4. The Lord said to my Lord. The first Lord is a reference to Jehovah the second is Adonai.
