Link get a dspear or mith seeds. Trust me. Also camping blood barrage on autocast is likely better, only ice for refreeze if you're not confident enough in your micro. If you're REALLY confident in micro'ing ancients without autocast, staff of the dead spec can be used to halve melee damage but keep in mind you can't switch away from it.

kins could win next episode if he gets a fire cape while alching, then goes and gets 70 prayer at pest control while training attack. i dont remember his regions but if he has kandarin and can get piety then thats a good move too.

@@amiralli7236 It's not about the fire cape, he just needs a decent spec weapon and to ko when he gets close, that's pretty much his only option.

@@whattaninja3751 Rargh is not going to win the series at all. it takes way to long to get a set up with reoccurring ko chances (weapon mastery). until then, link safes up and far casts. great move by Link getting mage relic in a series where each win counts. last fight winning series, rargh would have a chance.

Theres so much better gear he could get and 16 more mage levels for mage defence ,augry and like 30 attack and defence levels fang blood fury maybe ruinous prayers for the melee boost and sooo much more I think he definately has a shot maybe link will still win if he goes for shadow otherwise I think rargh takes the end game link only has mage and defence to level and the shadow is the big ticket if he doesn't get the drop he's fooked

He could easily beat mage. Like he said, he can max a literal 80 without prayer on. all rargh has to do is get his prayer up and smite link once, especially if link doesn't have him frozen. without melee prayer on, link would get shredded if he's frozen. its possible.

If he tries using smite he will just get frozen by link lol. Rargh has no shot dude.

No, he couldn't. All Link has to do to win is: Freeze, run around, keep pray up. He barely needs to eat or worry about anything. Meanwhile, Rargh has to spam his food to out eat Link's dps, while timing his binds and HOPING it doesn't splash. Smite won't do much, he can barely reach him with his melee setup, and his magic won't be able to smite him efficiently. Plus Link shouldn't get smited has he have high prayer + he only has to worry about keeping his pray up. Rargh could have 300 magic defense, it wouldn't be enough. It requires to much RNG to beat him. Could it happen? of course. Could he win the serie? Nope. Not with the rules they set.

He definitely can turn it around. Three 21s through prayer at the start of the fight was nutty. He could also consider going for a heavy hitting ranged weapon swap like a balista, the 2 tick axe into a balista hit off prayer would be wild.

if he: goes to get a fire cape while alching (to raise mage level for more defense), then goes back to pest control to get prayer up, he could be good. another way he could easily win is to try to get a dragon spear. if rargh can spear link he could easily get probably 4-5 hits on him before he unfreezes from that, which would easily be 50+ damage even with prayer on. combine that with smite and link would be in a tough spot. never mind the fact that the spear has 4 specs. if link got speared once and then took 4 hits, he would not have time to freeze rargh back. and then rargh could spear him again and repeat. in my honest opinion, both of them need to try to get a dragon spear lol

It does freeze everytime...it's part of the rune. This is part of the combat triangle, mage is supposed to beat melee. Farcast is part of the game for one, two Rargh can easily out dps mage while next to each other. He needs to figure out how to lock Link down for a short amount of time and he will win. There are ways to do it, and he will figure it out I'm sure.

Rargh could have easily chose ranged but he didn’t good fight nonetheless

The high chance of being frozen makes rarghs dps 0 while it increases Links to 20. ZGS or voidwaker might spec link out before he can run. That's really all I can think of.

For real they say it was close when link has almost his whole inventory of food left 🙄

I think dharok with berserker relic has the best chance, he’s only going to get a few close hits every fight with that stupid freeze chance so he needs those shots to be KO potential. Full send the 1 shot KO 🫡

You know that a whip is worse than a Leaf-Bladed Battle axe in Leagues, right? Both are 2-tick for Rargh and the Leaf-Bladed has a much higher str bonus (92 vs 82). Whip is better in main game because of the speed difference, but that's not the case for Rargh with his melee relic.

just going for entangles into a dragon scim spec into the battleaxe is the way to go
