when the trailer says the movie is releasing in theaters in november how would it be available to watch anywhere right now. you are basically demanding for someone to pirate it for you and give you a free ticket so you don't have to support it. quite cheap and shameless to be honest!

Whatever you were confused about, you would get your answer from a 5 second google search or just looking around their channel to get the general gist of things and what's exactly going on? Is that really rocket science? Of course you would feel the Menu will flop cuz deep down you know you won't understand it. Why are you even on this MOVIE CHANNEL if you don't know what's going on in the world of movies! Many festivals have been screening award contenders and Oscar bait films SINCE SEPTEMBER! WE ARE NOW IN NOVEMBER. Were you sleeping under a rock or something that you didn't have access to social media or google? Did you teleport from another planet, dimension or the stone age era or something that you don't know what press screenings, premieres, festival screenings or even a pre-screener is that critics and media channels get after filing out an NDA or some sort of contract or permission slip to be allowed to watch the film early?

really??? cuz barbarian, the black phone and smile did far better than ANYONE THOUGHT THEY WOULD and made money for their producers THIS YEAR ALONE. halloween ends took a 40 plus million opening and crashed by the 2nd weekend cuz the film sucked. if the word of mouth is good with the Menu and the audience likes it, it can easily make 50 million domestic which would make it a hit.

@@nikitamohanan2124 horror films make money what can I say. Cheap to make and you don’t even need big names or a complicated marketing campaign. A cool poster is more than enough to get ppl to see. But horror dark comedy (besides those silly parody movies) isn’t easy to sell. Did anyone watch Flux Gourmet? My point is, I think it’s going to be like Amsterdam.

@@richgranados11 I never even heard of Flux Gourmet? If it wasn't playing as a wide release in most theaters how can you blame us for it flopping! The movies I mentioned were risky and most of the trade and industry didn't expect them to make nearly as much as they did. They worked because there was an audience who Genuienly Liked it otherwise it would have crashed the way Halloween Ends did. Was that really complicated or rocket science for you to understand??? What do you mean by "well horror sells what can I say"? Such a braindead response. What you can't read and process something so simple that you need spoonfeeding now? Sheesh! The Menu is more like a thriller not a horror comedy. And the comedy isn't that loud or in your face at least from the trailers and promos. This movie has some stars and Adam Mc Kay and some writers from Succession are behind this which is why I said it can do decently well. It's at 88% on Rotten Tomatoes right now so obviously most people who saw it liked it and found it entertaining. You mentioning some obscure film which wasn't even playing in theaters and I bet you didn't support it in theaters either and now whining about it is very funny cuz it exposes his much of a hypocrite you are! Cronenberg's crimes of the future was a total washout and from the reviews and promos I could tell it wasn't very good either.

You wouldn't even comprehend my comment the very first time and went off on some random tangent so how on earth would you understand this film. You are exactly like Nicholas holt's character in this film who likes to show off about his aptitude and taste for fine dining or in your case "high art horror or thriller or artistic films" but doesn't really understand or care much for them for real but is still quick to critique or tear down others despite having no expertise themselves! A pretentious hypocrite really.

@@nikitamohanan2124 i saw flux gourmet at a Brooklyn bar theater that shows mostly niche indie films. It was pretty good but I know it’s an obscure film that played mostly on the indie scene. I’m not trying to be pretentious. I go to that bar theater because it’s cheap, cozy and the food is good lol. The Menu is a totally different animal. Bigger stars and it’s being distributed by the Mouse himself. Will it sell? Eh, I think it’s a little too high concept for most ppl just like triangle of sadness (which wasted my time when I saw it). And I don’t mean to say ppl r too dumb to get it but … I just don’t think it will be too successful. Could be wrong but Disney hasn’t had too much success with these mid budget non mcu films as of late (last duel, nightmare alley, west side story, etc) But I’ll be sure to check out the menu. I’m sure it will be better than something like triangle of sadness or the invitation.
