The real meaning of AMG is "Aufrecht, Melcher, Grossaspach." The first and second text means the creators of Amg, and Grossaspach is where they maked the first Amg car and people hate it the style beacause it was a big SEL Mercedes and german people called it red pig.

The AMG badge on Mercedes Benz stands for “Aufrecht Melcher Großaspach.” The first two words are the last names of Mercedes’ founders, Hans- Werner Aufrecht and Erhard Melcher. The last word, Großaspach, is the name of a city in Germany where Aufrecht was born.
