Thanks Kyle. I have owned my EQS 450+ for two weeks and the tech in the car is a bit of an overload for this 71 year old guy. I have found that most tasks can be performed by simply saying Hey Mercedes! I have used that method to tune in radio stations, close the sun shade, turn on ventilated seats and to change the ambient light colors. It is a wonderful car and I am getting over 400 miles of range on a 90% charge.

Kyle: For a new EQS owner, this is a GREAT video. What would make it better is to make chapters on the main sections.

I wasn't really into the exterior styling when it first came out, but the more review videos I watch, the more it's growing on me. Plus, one really must take into account its aerodynamicity (if that's even a word) when judging its blob like design. I think it's to be expected from any aerodynamic EVs. Also, I got goosebumps from the Burmester sound profile configuration! It really puts the car on the next level, and those ambient lightings didn't hurt, not even a little bit. I can't imagine how it was like for you experiencing that in person. Must've been great experience. Can't wait to see more videos about this car!

All of your reviews are spectacular, Kyle. Many thanks. We ordered a EQS 580 Exclusive Trim in January 2022. Currently anticipated ETA is around September 2022. I am 77 years old. I will set up the car completely and will have no trouble doing it. I am not a professional tech guy. Fat, old and rich implies neither stupid nor lazy. My wife and I passed on the Tesla model S that we test drove a couple of years ago. We stuck with our 2017 S Class 4matic at that time because the Tesla is not a luxury car. We test drove the EQS 450+ as soon as our dealer got one, and we ordered it that day. We both think the EQS is handsome, elegant and advanced inside and out.

Hey Kyle, what impresses me most about the Mercedes EQS is the overall vehicle size. Since vehicle width has a dramatic effect on aerodynamic drag, Mercedes made the EQS narrow on the outside - when compared to the conventional S class. Yet managed to keep the cabin roomy with a minimum of wasted space. Every vehicle is a series of compromises and I do approve of the way the EQS tries to move the luxury bar, in a unique manner.

There is a gap between those that are currently sixtyish and those that are in their 50s right now with technology and their willingness to embrace it and harness it for their good. I think it’s awesome that you can tie into a profile so once you spent an intensive set up and expressing all your desirable settings into the cake it’s time to forget it and let it cater to you which is exactly what most people buying this want. If you have more than one it would be awesome if that set up time could be then adapted right into your next UI experience with Mercedes. Great review💯

Thanks Kyle for going through many of the various screens -- I can't wait until I get my hands on my own 450+ (which rolled off the assembly line on 2/21). I will definitely be setting all these preferences and using all the tech assists. My philosophy is that as you get older (I'm now 75) you need a car that's smarter than you ! But you have to be smart enough to use all that tech. And there's a lot of guys my age who, like me, are really into this stuff. My 2018 E-Cabrio had many of these features, but the new MBUX seems to make accessing them easier. When test driving the EQS I noticed that the voice recognition is definitely improved -- I find that really useful because you can keep your eyes on the road rather than being distracted by the screens. I hope you do a review of all the ADAS features -- would be really interested to see how those work. I like to drive, but living in the SF Bay area, the reality is I'm often creeping along the freeway in a traffic jam. At these times, having the car paying attention and doing most of the work is a real blessing. So the ADAS stuff is important.

I like big, old person looking sedans...so I'm big fan of the style. I saw one in person last week. If only I could afford one. Until then I'll continue to be happy with my Model 3.

I am on a wait list although I might go for the SUV instead. I will use the features and I am 68. Especially the radio volume. Every time my wife is with me in the car, the first thing I need to do is turn down the volume. Mercedes should have an extra camera to see if my wife is with me and customize settings accordingly. Hey Kyle since I'm currently in the market and yeah I'm 50ish but big on tech and more than likely your video will scare many of the average Mercedes Benz customers, that being said for those of us who love TEC and quality of materials plus quality of ride for long trips Mercedes has brought something to the market that's will definitely increase their newer customer base. Lucid I've been watching but the quality is not a priority and 500 Miles is the greatest thing in the world but on a bs car it's not worth it. The Germans have always been good and to me all your video did was make me make the choice of mb over all the rest although there's a Tesla charger everywhere you going as a whole. As a long time MBUX (and previous MB system) user, it usually takes me a few evenings sitting in the car to get all the goodies to my satisfaction after I drive the car home.

In case you're wondering, you need to have the Premium Plus package (or whatever the top trim is called in your market) to get this feature.

Great job Kyle! Your tutorial was very comprehensive and at the right speed. I had my EQS580 for two days now and I am blown away with how quiet and comfortable the ride is (the wheelbase of 126.5 shines thru). And the 36 ft turning circle for this size car is amazing too. One feature I saw in some of other videos was the automatic door open and close. I was hoping to see it in your video but maybe it is not available in the US? Apple car play works well ... but to use the fully featured MB navigation there is no way I can find to send my iphone contact's address to MB navigation? or is there a way? I love my 2022 EQS 450+ everything about the vehicle is spectacular. Initially we were interested in a Tesla & went as far as placing an order for 1. Thanks 2 the waiting list, we were able 2 change our minds after laying eyes on an EQS. I can’t complain as this is an unbelievable car, I do however wish we could have gotten an EQS with a hyper screen opposed 2 the smaller screen. Can u have a Hyperscreen put in as a replacement??

Thanks Kyle. Great review as always. Amazing car!! although It's smarter to save some money and get the EQE with all the features. You could have gotten a lot more viewers for this if you would have mentioned that these same settings would apply to the EQE and most of them even to the C300 series. Hyperscreen is great, but not needed. the car operates the same.

I have ordered a 580 - months to come - and was significantly influenced by your intelligent and detailed reviews. Thank you. I have only one comment about this episode. In your detailed audio discussion you thought that "balance" adjustments affected the bass and treble. Sorry, but balance affects left to right, front to back amplitude (loudness) balance . That is why the violins used for illustration have different sizes as adjustments are made. It is the equalization (EQ) adjustments - which you skipped over - that affect spectrum: bass, midrange and treble frequencies.

I wonder if the EQS 580 has different features. Also, I think the personalization is trial and error. I have an EQS 580 and I did the Dealer overview. Which was very nice. I would like to a bit more walking through the options versus you can do this as well. Great sound system walk through
