"And We have not sent you except as a mercy to mankind" (Surah Al-Anbiyah 21:107)
Belal Assaad speaks about the compassion and mercy of Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alayhi wasallam - peace be upon him) towards the world. Not only to mankind, but all of creation. The speaker shares stories and examples from the life of the Prophet (pbuh) of how he was compassionate towards different beings in his life. How he showed compassion towards all creatures, human beings, and even the jinn. His compassion towards women and children, his wifes, his sons and daughters, and the sons and daughters of all believers. The poor and the old, the sick and the sad, the animals, and the insects even. How he showed compassions towards even the enemies of Islam.
Bilal Assad was born in Williamstown, Melbourne, Australia. He started his Islamic studies at a very early age and acquired his Shariah knowledge in Lebanon; and continued tertiary education in Bio-Medical Science in Australia. Bilal has been offering his service to the community for many years and has been working with the Islamic Society of Victoria for over ten years.

Br. Bilal Assad was my favourite teacher in my high school days. I used to look forward to his classes. Masha'allah what a beautiful man, he made the entire school come to tears from his powerful words about the great prophet muhammed SAW in a khudba. Allhamdulillah.

The Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was always smiling and cheerful despite losing his wife, all of his children died except one, he kept sharing his message to others, he was the most forgiving of men, the strongest, the most wise, the most heroic, he was called al-amin (the trustworthy) as he never lied, his kindness was remarkable. A truly wonderful man.

The Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) who never wrote an autobiography yet has more biographies written about him than any man in history. The people of Taa'if stoned him till he bled and forced him out of the city (he walked 150 kilometers alone to go there), Yet He asked Allah to forgive them. (PBUH) A woman used to throw trash at the door of The Prophet (saws) when he passed by her house. He went to visit her when she got ill. What a wonderful man ! :D

The Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) saved the women from oppression and objectification, he even almost declared war against someone just because they attacked a woman! And people DARE insult him, DARE accuse Islam of hurting women. What an amazing man. :D

The Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was the best of men, when he proposed his message to others, people would spit on his face in public, some of his followers were killed, camel intestines were dropped on him during prayer, they tried to kill him so many times, he left Mecca, he lost ALL his wealth, yet when he came back to mecca with 10.000 men, he forgave all his enemies and said they were his brothers. Who DARES compare himself to the prophet? WHO would do that today?

i just feel that as many Islamic countries in the world right now are in terror/war, they really need to watch this video or go back to the teachings of Prophet Muhammad S.A.W. and the Quran. To all my Muslim brothers and sisters, let's pray for our other brothers and sisters who are now blinded in terror and war amongst ourselves. @ Sir Jon Beasly...MAy ALLAH ( subhanahu wa ta'ala) enlighten you...as for the WE, which is repeatedly stated in Qur-an. These words, “Verily We” and “We” and other forms of the plural, may be used by one person speaking on behalf of a group...in that matter Allah ( subhanahu wa Ta'ala) reveals and sent down the surah in the Qur-an through Allah's Angels...in which there are thousands and more angels...therefore it was Used WE to represents a WHOLE.... thank you....

again, thank you for prompt response. what about surah 9 which is chronologically the final revelation? what about taqiyya, which permits lying about your faith? these things are why i ask khalifah. no matter how truly a non muslim like myselt peace with muslims, these thing or very concerning. what about muhammeds own personal example, beheadings and killings. i ash honestly with no intent to insult. thanks again

I liked this lecture but i have to disagree with one thing that he said...When he said that the some kuffar make fun of the Prophet saaws and then responded by saying "when have muslims ever insulted a prophet from any other religion" that sorry to say brother got me upset. why would we make fun of any other prophet? WE CANT! they are our prophets and we believe in them as much as we believe in Muhammad(saaws) and they are our prophets they are prophets of Islam not any other religion.

I liked the lecture but I do disagree with one point thi brother said. The fact that th kuffar make funof the Prophet(saaws) his response was "when have muslims ever made fun of a prophet of any other religion?" well never, BECAUSE WE CANT, secondly we have more say over the prophets because guess what? THEY ARE OUR PROPHETS AS WELL! so why should we make fun of them, good lecture brother but Mohammad(saaws) isnt the only prophet muslims believe in or love...
