This scenes never fail to make me cry. He didn't torture her, never tortured her. He wants everyone to think that he imprisoned her because he hates her but the truth is he wants to keep uer safe and he's afraid to lose her again. He knows she's drying and he wants to do everything to keep her alive. She keeps trying to escape because all her life, all she wants is freedom, she knows she's dying and she wants to realize her dream before she dies. When she realized that she couldn't get freedom, she gave up. She's exhausted and wants death to come sooner which is better than slowly dying.

I only read 2 novel drama based on. This drama was so disappointing that I decided to read the actual novel. Drama changed so much from the original novel causing very poor plots. The mermaid man supposed to be handsome which sorry but he does not fit the role. They keep transferring energy with kiss in the drama because graphical nice but doesn’t make sense. The other novel I read is Legend of Shenli. I love the drama so much that I want to understand the characters more by reading novel. Highly recommended drama.
