I remember one day at a birthday bash way back in 2011, neighbors complained that we were playing loud music and we should keep the volume down, we did so while this riddim was on, when vybez cartel poor people land came on, our voices from the house were so loud that the same neighbors came and asked as to raise the music volume up and we stop singing and instead listen to the songs and have a good time. Good memories.

Last year at this time, I was hiking 15,000 feet above sea level in the mountains of Colorado listening to this very mix. Hearing the words to JahVinci's "Put your trust in Jah" on a clear sunny morning looking up at the sky and down at the God's creation is a moment and a feeling I will never forget. This mix also takes me back to SUmmer '14 in San Diego. This rhythm has a strong nostalgic and positive emotional vibes for me.
