I needed this song especially today. My children and I were evicted from our home of 7 years in the middle of winter. My ex boyfriend sister gave up her house for us to move into immediately. Barely moved in here and got a message that the house we were praying for the owner approved us!!!! Hallelujah!!!! What God has for me is for me!!!!

I have led this song for years, but today it hit me different! I am a survivor of COVID, trauma from losing my husband to COVID, trauma, and depression. God has kept our children and I these three years! 😭 God has turned things around for me in so many ways as a widow.

I was laying in my dialysis clinic yesterday, with my AirPods on, listening to this song, with tears running down my face. I've been revisiting this song for a long time, and I've been waiting on God to move in my life. Of course, He has kept me, sustained my life, blessed me in many ways, but there are certain struggles that have been so painful. Chronic Kidney Disease, untransplantable, wife left me and our two kids 7 months after I began dialysis (10 years ago). I've stood on faith, and God has brought me through 10 years alone as a single parent on dialysis. Medically retired and on a fixed income. Not complaining, but sometimes the pain flares up and it knocks me down. Mostly in mind and spirit. Still grateful to God. This song touches deep down inside.

Confirmation..I’ve been out of work for some time! I applied for numerous jobs exceeding the qualifications, crushed the interviews, and it seemed like no one wanted to hire me! Today I interviewed and asked God for his will to be done! Wanting it badly but not bad enough to where it goes against Gods say so! I have been single for the past 37 years. I always wanted to get married, but love never came my way so l stopped expecting it. I am a decent Christian woman and l haven't figured out why. All l ever wanted was a Christian man to love me. I had a fruitful career as an educator. I thought that after l retired that things would change for me but they haven't. I guess l must be one of the ones that is not supposed to be married. I feel that all my life l have just been existing and not living. I will pray for you and you can pray for me. Be encouraged!

I ask God to take away my sickness and depression. I believe God Will Bless Me And My Kids With An Apartment Something We Can Call Home. We been homeless for awhile we have been in so many shelters and havent have any help with housing of any kind. I ask God To Unlock all resources for me and my kids and unlock my heart and laughter. 2021 still my fav . for this song. When i was a little it was this choirs version my mama listened too. And at 36 now i still rock only this choirs version. The soloist rocks!!!!!! The men joining in was perfect. I recently went up for my OPOTA and passed the class. But i listened to this song for a week and a few other gospel songs. Hmm that’s not entirely fair as I believe profit and gospel music has always had a very close connection. In church they sung then took offerings.. that’s formatted that way on purpose 😂 Then think about musicians who took the gospel format and used it in non gospel music for profit. James brown, Little Richard, etc etc. i’m not saying it’s right or wrong, I’m saying there has always been a connection. You think they didn’t take collection after singing It is For Me? That $50 in yo wallet is for me 🤣😂
