When Pat Benatar’s Tropico album was released in 1984, she was on top of the world: an established superstar talent with a string of chart-toppers, and she and her husband and musical partner Neil Giraldo were about to become first-time parents. The biggest hit from the album, “We Belong,” would become a worldwide smash, extending her golden streak on the charts. It’s a love song that was actually written by two Los Angeles musicians who were struggling to make it at the time, and its success became a windfall for them that they didn’t see coming. Excellent job on this as always Janda...Saw Pat Benatar on this tour at the now gone Poplar Creek...They were blasting AC/DC ta get the crowd going and it worked well cause when she came on she blew the joint away!!! Thanks again Christian for your great work🤘🤘🤘

Great one Janda. A lot of twists..I love that Liza gave Pat her wings. Kind of an 80's Liza hair and makeup look. Then, Navarro is in the mix. But the song itself and how it came to be..and how Pat and Neil are still together and making music. Thanks for all the work, much appreciated. Truly Enjoyed. Kat K.
