Another great match from the Golden Age. O’Connor, always under appreciated, was truly an all time great. Many thanks to the Davis estate for keeping these memories alive.

From what ive read concerning Wrestling history.Chicago must have been the capitol of the wrestling world at this time.Fred kohler had some of the best shows at this time.

Pat O' Conner was a great wrestler and former NWA World Heavyweight Champion.

It's interesting to see Atlas, a heel, signing autographs. In later years, when the roles would be more defined, you'd never see that.

It's interesting and yet I think it's neat and doesn't really break kayfabe in any way. After all, do/did real-life sports heels like Mike Tyson or Taylor Lewan or Bill Laimbeer never sign autographs?

***** I agree that headscissors was beautifully implemented on the Mighty Atlas but I am surprised for 1952 how tight and body hugging Pat's trunks were showing off his obvious ample manhood!

I saw O'Connor wrestle at Des Moines at least twice. He had a true amateur background.

Once again he stands there and flexes his pecs and makes them pop. Then he shows off his big arms . Atlas had a huge ass and would have looked better in just trunks. His grip on his full nelson was was amazing

So agree man. He would of looked hot in tighter and smaller wrestling trunks, so you could see that huge bulge. He had muscles for days

Beautiful headscissors, would loved to be a wrestler back then because I love the headscissors, using them and being caught in a headscissors. Love the challenge of trying to get out of a good headscissors hold. Love them all the way around!♥️
