I'm pretty early in the video but like... Nintendo has shied away from online social stuff because their main target audience is too vulnerable, and the MiiVerse was basically proof of why they probably won't do it again any time soon. Lots of preteens openly sharing and reacting to super inappropriate stuff, mixed in with what appear to be actual child predators.

First of all, Project M still lives on as Project Plus and it got a new update about 2 days ago. Also, the funniest part about Miiverse was the stage it had in Smash 4. The posts you made about the game or the characters would pop up in the background and it was the best thing. You have to see what I mean.

okay i assume kwite doesn't know this since he said he thought it was flip-a-clip, but miiverse actually had a feature where you could just make image posts instead of writing text, and you'd draw what you wanted to draw RIGHT THERE on the 3ds/wii u gamepad. its legitimately where i first started posting my art online lmao. there were also drawing games on the 3ds and communities for those so sometimes people would make art in those and then post the screenshots

I used Miiverse _a bit_ I wasn't the most active there and most importantly I only was in German speaking communities. The major thing I remember is a Studs (the in game coins/points)show up in Lego City Undercover. With all those redbrick multiplyer that stack and the costs for buying characters so low you can quickly reach billions or even trillions of studs.
