This is a Super Smash Bros Ultimate tutorial on how to ledgetrap. Please let me know in the comments if you learnt anything and what other areas of the game you would like me to go in depth into.

SUMMARY:
- Practice reacting to roll and regular getups (even vsing cpus is good for this)
- While ledgetrapping move around roll distance
- Cover jump getups by preemptively having a hitbox out
- Commit as little as possible when covering jump getups
- Retreat back towards roll distance after committing to a preemptive option
- land a high damage combo or hit your opponent back off stage
- Outspace double jumps onto stage and punish
- Dash back if your opponent is drifting towards the ledge but still has their double jump
- If you don't think you will punish a getup option in time, stay patient and keep your opponent
in the corner as it's still an advantaged position
- At high %'s look to kill your opponent off specific getup options, after paying attention to the options they have been choosing at lower %'s
- Only go for big commitment kill options if you're at no risk
from dying yourself
- Only fish for a kill move for about a second or two
- Get up attack has about 23 frames of endlag, punish it with a kill move at high %
- Throw out safe attacks to stop opponents hanging on the ledge too long
- If your opponent consistantly doesn't choose an immediate get up option go for ledgetrumps
- Fade back towards stage as you ledgetrump back air so that you aren't put into a bad position if
you miss
