Shade you imagine its ordinary people who are responsible for how the world moves ahead, not true. Secondly a Life without troubles is impossible.
@ShadeZahrai
@ShadeZahrai 2 жыл бұрын
Agreed Gurinder. Which is why the video addresses the optional and risky financial choices that large droves of people make (particularly in developed countries). This doesn't deny that suffering is an essential part of our human development and it doesn't claim that all ordinary people take full responsibility for an unsustainable and corrupt financial system based on driving perpetual debt and resulting in further extremities of poverty and wealth. For example, when a significant portion of people in the west (such as in Australia and the USA) compete to purchase property and willing commit to mortgages at over-inflated prices they put themselves in high financial risk. They could have been financially prudent and borrowed within their means by planning ahead for when interest rates return to normal. Instead the masses bought into the hype driven by legacy media. Interest rates are inevitably rising and to make matters worse inflation is still very high. Many in the middle class in the west are struggling (60% of Americans live paycheck to paycheck). There has never been such a high level of personal debt in the financial system and as central banks around the world continue to fight inflation many people will needlessly suffer.

Buying materialistic things to make yourself happy is never ending, it is a temporary feeling of fulfilment / joy and ends when you desire something new or want to get something else that your competition has... Work on increasing inner strength and peace which will reduce the cravings for materialistic possessions. Love your videos Shadé ! 👍🏼👏🏼🙏

This one is truly one of the best video on finance I have ever seen. All the advices are based on facts and not on philosophies. I love it. There is so much wisdom in this video. The most powerful piece of advice is to see the world and your situation through your own eyes. I've always done it (maybe even to the discontent of others), and I've always felt that I cannot live someone 's lifestyle but mine because I have other needs, expenses, and goals. Unfortunately, I noticed that so many regular conversations are about holidays or new things, which is I think one of the factors that makes people buy more and more. Even if you cannot afford going on a nice vacation, you still do it to try to impress or not to stand out. I wish it was different.

Shade, poverty mentality is an attitude. It is a way of thinking that is said to perpetuate poverty because the focus is on what one doesn't have rather than what one does have. Thoughts & comments such as I can't afford this & I will never have enough money for that may turn out to be a self fulfilling prophecy.

Some of the reasons why society is compelled to constantly spend money is because it fills an innate sense of longing for most. That longing is due to us not having to hunt, forage for food, travel long distances on foot or fend off constant attacks from predator's. Through the media & social reprograming, they have distorted that LONGING & replaced it with what you described in the video. Keep creating great content, your work is appreciated thanks.

The problem beings with the lack of education and I can promise you there is no critical thinking going on or problem solving. Hello Shade, thank you for the interesting topic, actually I think that life if very simple and we just need the basic necessities and love to be happy. I decide what I need : who decided for me that a fancy car or a dream house or jewels are mandatory to be happy ? My life is mine and the persons who set the social classes are not better than me raison wise to decide for me what to do. We created those barriers in our minds and we can remove them. We need just to stop and think and to ask ourselves every time a simple question : do I really need this? Is it a priority? Is it going to increase my happiness or my struggle? Good luck for all of us facing the fancy lives on social media these days 🍀
