Use logs to outline your house. Use upside down stairs, slabs, and trap doors on the walls to make patters. Paintings are fun too. Also get a bit more funky with the shape; making a really tall house, a really wide house, a house shaped like a teacup, a sphere, an animal, etc. It's Minecraft. Fuck the rules. Do what you want.

Stalactite is "T" for Top bc their on top. Stalagmite is an "M" bc it's not on the top. You just have to remember one and the other is whatever the other options is

No, the main issue is he has Render Distance set to 18. Way too high. 8-12 and you're smooth sailing
