That whispering is reminding me of the mod InsanityMod (if its called that way) Staying in the Dark too long or killing animals makes your insanity meter go low and makes you more and more paranoid

i grew up with ps1 as my first console, and i'm really impressed that the shaders got its unique wibbly texture warping bullshit accurate. like NO other consoles did that, i think it had something to do with how they used to wrap textures.

apparently vertex warping was caused by fixed-point imprecision, since PSX didn't use floating point. That must have been interesting to code, the attention to detail is amazing
