It's been unusable for a long, long time. Since long before the minecraft wiki moved onto it. And once you move onto it, they'll hijack your google searches forever, so I really, *really* don't understand why they abandoned their old site. No way that Microsoft wouldn't have happily handled hosting costs.

Apparently the editors/admins of a wiki don't actually see ads on the wikis they're in charge of. They also have no say over what ads are placed on their wikis or where. They're very much doing this for everyone else's sake.

Fandom admin here. I 100% agree with the community's decision to migrate. For years, I have had the same misgivings about the intrusiveness of the ads. And I don't know what kind of wizardry Fandom pulled, but they somehow made these ads immune to adblockers. It wasn't always like this. Before the merge of Wikia and Gamepedia (to make Fandom as we know it), things were fine. I hope Fandom realizes this problem, or they may have to endure the migration of _several_ communities, just Minecraft.

It's kind of unfortunate that the Warriors wikis are hosted on Fandom. It might be a big effort to take all of the little character, book and chapter pages to a new site, if any of them ever decide to migrate, though it might be similar with a wiki of a game as big as Minecraft.
