Dan's scores for The Miniaturist and SS-GB bagged him two out of three nominations for Best Television Soundtrack at the Ivor Novello Awards 2018. The other nominee was Rob Lane with his brilliant score for Babs.
This television adaptation of Jessie Burton's best-selling novel, set in 17th Century Amsterdam, starred Anya Taylor-Joy as Petronella Oortman/Brandt, Alex Hassell as Johannes Brandt, and Romola Garai as Marin Brandt.
