I absolutely love how pastor Bayless ties the old testament into many of his sermons. If you ask a lot of Christians they will say I read the New testament but the old testament is really outdated. Pastor Bayless makes the old testament really cool when he talks about it. I'm actually excited to read books in the old testament. There was a time I was not. I listen to the book of Daniel today on KZfaq the entire book. It's a pretty heavy read but I used to avoid old testament and just stick with New testament. But there's so much gold in the old testament as well, thank you pastor Bayless 😄

So when Bayless is talking about Daniel praying for 3 weeks and never losing hope, can this be related to prayers of healing??? every time I hear Bayless talk about healing it sounds like it happens instantly. I have some things I've been praying about concerning my health and I am feeling better but I'm just not completely better yet. So sometimes it's a process with God and other times it's instant? Why? Just wondering.

Hey Bayless! I used to be catholic but now I'm a non denominational Christian. My parents would like me to baptize my son thru the Roman catholic church however I'm not sure how I should go about baptizing him. What should I do ?

Hello! Thanks for your question. Please email one of our care pastors, Pastor Dan, at dkotoff@cottonwood.org with this question. He would be happy to help 😊

Derty, Since you're the parent of your child, god holds you accountable for him/her, not the grandparents! Therefore, if you attend a nondenominational church, have your child dedicated (not baptized like the Catholic church does) to the Lord there!

I want to share a story with you about what happened to my pastor many years ago befroe he became our pastor. He was pastoring n Sillacaga, Al. The church wsa in bad bad shape! It was so bad that when Bro. Don and Sister Sara had been pastoring their for 2 or 3 months, he told his wife that he was going to men's prayer meeting on Monday night whch he started and if he didn't hear from the Lord that night, they were going to leave.

That night after Pastor went to prayer meeting, just as he started the servcie, a big man came into the sanctuary. Pastor shook his hand and asked him what his name was. Tne man said, "I'm called by many names." Bro. Don thought something like, "Oh know there's another persson that's here to cause trouble. Bro. Don also asked him, "Where're you from?" The man said, "I'm from allot of places." Pastor fet even more bothered. So he asked the man one more qusetion: Who invited you? The man replied, "I wasn't invited, I was sent." Pastor even got allittle more nervous. Bro. Don continued with the service and asked if the men had prayer requests and they gave their requests as usual. TO BE CONTINUED

The visiting man who had been sitting on the alter rail stood, lifted his hands and Bro. Don said he (the man--ngel) began to speak in tongues i a way pator had never heard since he'd come into Pencost! He said it was electafying! He said it went on and on and on like it would never end. Pastor said the only part of the interpretation he remembers is "Just one droip of my blood is sufficient for every need that you have. Pastor said the man began to shout and run all over the place. Some fell on their faces before God--that was alsome of them's including astor's reaction even while the man was speaking in tongues. (to be continued)
