In our current adventure in STALKER Wind of Time, today we meet the snork.
A lovely little fellow born from hatred and a gas mask.
The snork has a wonderful ability to send me into a rage and to beat up my ankles until I hemorrage.
Hopefully Wave has brought enough medical supplies (I didn't) to stave off the ankle sprains, and we can find out this mysterious Professor Kalanch that our mans here is so desperate to find.

"Destroy the Mercenaries" was actually one of the easier tasks for me... because killing the Mercs at the start gave me a rifle suppressor, and that allowed me to just snipe the bastards with my L85A1 with impunity. Didn't even know what hit em. I did struggle with getting inside the Miracle Machine itself though, because I decided that the TOZ-34 is gonna be my main secondary for my run due to being able to reliably blast tanky enemies from a distance. That and I had to spend a lot of cash to keep getting 5.56x45 to keep my L85A1 fed. Double barrel is phenomenal against mutants and humans alike but not so good for groups. Did let me clear out all the Snorks with strategic positioning though. Also yeah, the Snorks are slower but bullshit strong in this one. The only weapon I have that can reliably instakill them in the head is the TOZ-34. Even the SPAS takes a couple shots because the pellet spread is wider.

Twas a banger. I'll be back one day, don't worry. I also haven't been able to play stalker in a while, I'll try again with mod organizer 2, but i have had issues with it, with me not being able to actually set an instance to stalker anomaly. I'm just about to play it vanilla when I reinstall it

Most likely not the one from CoP there would be a few Major Degtyarev's in the military his first name is never displayed so we can't know for sure who it is.

Once again, because this one isn't linear slop, it's very interesting that your experience and mine have been very different so far! Fanatic contacted me earlier in the Red Forest, because I went to do some exploring and looting a number of stashes that were in Limansk. Of course, all the Mercs were dead---but imagine my surprise when I found out that it was now populated by non-weapon-carrying zombies that are tanky af AND a Controller! Anyway, I got to do Fanatic's quest line before even heading to Yantar because I had spent a lot of time there and in Limansk. Hoo boy that quest line is a spooky treat. Also, ended up spending several days at Yantar to do quests there without even setting foot at the Bar yet, up to and including dealing with the Miracle Machine. Now, I could probably have gotten better plot-related Psi-protection later... but I just powered my way into the basement then through the Miracle Machine room itself using nothing but lots of drugs. Worth it tho. Also, the way you get to deal with the Miracle Machine this time is... interesting, to say the least.

1:38 perfect check the minimap. It was so satisfying 💀 the merc's were just threatening you, as a russian I don't under gibberish ahh screaming of swears, as a S.T.A.L.K.E.R veteran, I recommend to change cover every 10 seconds and run a lot :D also btw dolg means debt in russian and duty

@Wavey's Gaming Adventure the AN 94 is probably one of the best weapons in the game with it's 2 round burst mode it's more accurate and faster than automatic fire.

Dont know if ur mutants ally with each other or the enemy ( I mean there are options which they will not kill each other). so, I saw three snorks killed a chimera and in other occasions, two of them killed a giant.
