Most parts of an aeroplane are made with aluminium, but uko ndani mahali landing gear huingia, most parts and pipes are made of stainless steel to prevent rust I guess. Now one of the components used to make stainless steel is nickel because it prevents oxidation. He was identified later, an airport cleaner from Mukuru kwa njenga, can't remember the name but was from western kenya. He had told a colleague about plans to relocate to uk by hiding in the luggage part of the plane....

Thanks Mkuru for the story, I watched the documentary about the reporter who followed up on the incident. Calitos said 'brother we have made it' when the plane was descending, he was alive too until the wheel well opened and he fell to his death.
