Ron, we actually had a lady (here in Florida) a number of years ago that had an unbelievable accident. For something like 3 or 4 days this Grandma lived in her small car on rainwater that collected on her car and candy that she always had in her purse (remember she was a grandma). One evening while driving on Interstate 595 in Broward county Florida, upon starting onto the overpass that would put her onto the ramp of Interstate 95, she was cutoff and flew over the safety wall of the interstate. After falling about 40 or so feet (car and all), she was caught by 2 very large trees. This is why nobody knew what happened to her until I believe it was a Road Ranger caught a glimpse of the car in the trees. And that was by chance as he stopped to help another motorist on the shoulder of the flyover. This Grandma had some lucky angels looking out for her. Love your videos, keep up the good work.

The old Cherokees are tough. We have a 98 that looks exactly like that one, same color and model with 330k miles on it and it’s still running strong. I rolled my 95 4wheeling and then drove it home. We later took the roof and doors off and built a cage and trail ran it till I sold it to kid who still runs it.

I have a 95! Still runs like a Champ!! You can't beat an ol str8 6!! I'd love to have the tires off this one tho! I just have reg street tires now..all I could afford!!

I am sad to see him in this condition! I had a XJ 98, with tires 31x10.5x15, with the color Red Hot Chili Peppers. I sold it to have a more economical vehicle. 3 years later I still regret it.

Hi, Ron!! I'm glad the driver walked away from there, for if he went a little faster, he would have been at the bottom of the ravine and heaven would know how long we would have been there before he was found. The first thing that came to mind after I watched this was: "Tree-1 Car-0" lol Another challenge met successfully by you, and you make it look so easy. What you do is one of the tougher jobs out there. You don't get much sleep when on-call, and probably don't sleep much when you are called out in the middle of the night to help. God bless you and your family, and stay safe out there. The world is full of people that don't know how to drive right, and a lot of times, you end up picking up their sorry butts out of a ditch, tree, and other assorted unusual spots. Catch you on the next one. 🤗🤗🤗👌😊😊😊🐸

So glad to hear the driver was ok in this. A guardian Angel was riding shotgun for sure in this incident. Those Jeep Cherokee's are tough. The engine, drive train, tires are all salvageable. Again, so glad to hear the lady was uninjured, save for a scratch and maybe a bit shaken up/nervous which is understandable. Ron, you do quality work both on recoveries and videos and other jobs. Stay safe. God Bless.

ive seen an XJ completely survive a rollover, i think in this case, it was the tree that damaged it, but the one im thinking of belongs to trailrecon. they showed all the damage to it, i think they took it to a couple of bodyshops and had them look at it. the structural integrity is still there, there are a few dents and closer gaps, but everyone seems to agree that its ok and now they are coming up with ways to rebuild it into a better 4x4

just goes to show that even in the worst looking crashes you cant be sure what injuries will result and the same goes for the least accidents the injuries can be fatal. Having lived through without injury a multiple rollover where roof came down to top of seats i can say with confidence that any accident can be horrible but at the same time any crash can be little more than a wrecked car and no injuries. The problem for all first responders is that they always have to arrive on scene expecting the worst and wishing and praying for the best, this is why so many of them can only do the tasks for so long because of the stress of what they see and deal with on a daily basis and how they have to always be ready for the worst. My thoughts and prayers go out to all those that do this as their daily job, not only for their safety on the job but for them to have the strength to deal with the effects of their chosen calling.

The driver was SO lucky to get out of this whitout any serious injuries. But talking about luck: Good that the tree stopped the car. If the tree wouldnt be there the car could have rolled down much more than it already was, even maybe have a full rollover.

It's good to see noone was hurt, amazing considering the state of it! It's interesting to see the difference in whats allowed, I run a tilttray, and here we cant use open hooks at any time, all connections are required to be closed hooks or shackles, and we also cant have open tool trays anymore at the front of the tray, must have lids on and locked closed when driving. Nice looking rig btw, strange to see bonneted trucks, everyone here runs cabovers, some single cabs, some crewcabs (mostly breakdown trucks run the crewcabs)
