Dr Mohan is the chairman and Chief of Diabetology at Dr Mohan’s Diabetes Specialities Centre, which is a WHO Collaborating Centre for Noncommunicable Diseases Prevention and Control and an IDF Centre of Education. He is also the President and Director of the Madras Diabetes Research Foundation in Chennai. He was awarded Padma Shri by the Government of India in March 2012.
He is a Trustee of Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust, Prasanthi Nilayam.
This is first part of a series of conversations based on his book "Sathya Sai Baba Lives On..." published in 2017.

According to sister Nooshin Mehrabani who was very close to Sathya Sai Baba, he had diabetes. This was said on a youtube of her talking at the Hollywood Sathya Sai Centre at the 39th minute of her talk. Can anyone confirm this, particularly Dr V.Mohan.

I am very surprised that a learned man and an ardent devotee, couldn"t think for himself at the first instance that he was following the footsteps of Sai Baba to help and guide humanity. So what harm was there to display the pictures of Sai Baba as his guide. The Christians around the world place statues of Jesus infront of their hospitals, schools etc.The Sikhs, for example, do the same to remind them the teachings of Guru Nanak. We need divine souls to lead the world. I salute Dr Mohan and his wife, anyway, for their achievements.

Swami is the Lord of the universe. We dont need anybody's approval or opinion for this. He is the supreme creator. Our experiences in life are more than enough to know Sai Baba.
