It's absolutely unreal that a company can declare private property and you apparently can't film on the property that is publicly accessible. Also interesting how they want to summon the police to remove someone from private property. I am never surprised at people's stupidity and authoritarianism, but I am always annoyed by it

Filming in public is an assumed right, id est: taking photos of your family, photographing tourist attractions etc.. Following members of the public with a camera could well be deemed as harassment, which may lead to authorities having power over you. Well, it's like that in civilized parts of the world. In regards to CCTV, the people you've voted to represent you have deemed CCTV in certain places to be a significant crime deterrent, therefore, legal. So if you're not a private security company subcontracted by above said voted in peoples, then you have an assumed right to film in public, not a right. And it gets even more complicated and seemingly totalitarian in regards to police powers on private property - see stuff like 99 year leases etc.. Now be honest, if a stranger was following you around with a camera with the explicit purpose of capturing violence or coercion in order to post video footage on the net, how exactly would you feel? Harassed perhaps? Annoyed?

I used to go every weekend nearly 10 years ago, had lots of fun and no trouble but I'm a tall guy that doesn't look for it. Went back around 2019 and it was much worse than it was back in 2012/13. But so is the rest of the world

The footage of the police horses was really good. The way the horses were in focus whilst the buildings behing were blurred and the noise of their steps matched with the pace of the camera was really something to enjoy

If the bus station man was going to be 'disciplined' for letting you film in the bus station, all he needed to do was politely walk up to you and say 'Hello, I must request that you stop filming due to the procedures at this station. Please comply with my request.' and then leave it at that, whether you stop filming or not, your footage of him requesting is proof enough that he has done what his employer requests of him which is request you to not film. No need to keep going at it or try to block your shot or be rude / impolite with yourself.

I wish they had come out with the truth sooner, to be honest. A simple "Listen mate, I'd like you to stop filming because it's possible I'll get in trouble if I don't ask you' is all it needs. Charlie (Or other people filming) are more likely to back off due to empathy if you don't start with the attitude and hostility. Not everyone is as forgiving as Charlie.
