The "Misfit" Lion Cub Tries to Bond with Younger Brothers

The Nsefu pride of lions has six new cubs, a few weeks old, feeding and playing together. One is a little smaller, and holds back, a misfit. He's perhaps the runt of the litter, and his chances of survival are low. Yet when he becomes separated from the rest of the pride, it is his shy character that saves his life.

@@maggiethecat1538 I am sorry for my rude comment but I was trying to say that tiger population and it’s habitat and it’s real nature is being lost , only 3% tiger population exist today , most of them got hunted down for fun . U have good heart , I was hoping u would stand for tiger conservation . Merry Christmas 🎄

The cutest little thing, just love his story.It was amazing how he survived a night alone and almost died from a leopard finding him .But luck favors this little thing .

I rewatch this and never get tired of it. The little “ misfit” is soooo adorable ! They all are . But he’s the star ! What preserverence ! So glad he made it to adult hood!!!

So here from where this journey began ............ a inspiring story of a weakling, who was rejected by his own family because he was differentfrom the rest, always last, always bullied .......... became a young lion who led his whole family in a hunt & becomes confident ...................he was never a 'misfit', he was born to be different !!!!

Is he a new "misfit"? I watched a documentary about another misfit who overcomes all the obstacles and grows into one healthy and strong young adult. I don't know if he made his way into a new pride or formed his own but his story ends with him being kicked out of the pride. He's seen walking with two other expelled young lions from a different pride. That was all. I hope this little nugget will grow up to be what he's made to be -- a ferocious and mighty warrior of the wild.

@@greeneyes325 True. We glorify them abundantly but look little into their "sorrows" of childhood. But then, it's such a heartbreaking thing that one would like to just watch them in their full glory rather than their hardships of premature death and tragedy. Nature is full of splendor and beauty, and behind that it's all danger lurking everywhere.

Nature is cruel and life in the wild is full of challenges . Misfit lion grew up unaccepted but he was able to overcome the rejection. I watched the movie born free and I saw the effects of domestication . Let wild animals be where they’re from. They will find ways to take care of themselves without our help. Our goal is just to document and preserve whatever’s left . I got teary eyed watching him rejected by his mom /aunt and refused to feed him but he was such a determined lion . We humans can relate to the bullying
