Honestly i don't know for certain but it seems highly likely. A large portion of misfits songs are written about B horror movies and this seems way too coincidental to be an accident.

@John Jay i agree with the other comment that this is one of the few covers that is exactly as good as the original. I love Graves and the Misfits as a whole but this version has a charisma that the other one doesn't. I attribute that to it blending metal and punk together better than the original. The original always had a hint of thrash metal and this version leaned more into it, in the guitar, vocals, and drums. And I think that decision paid off tremendously

Definitely not better than Graves, but still the only good cover I've seen. Everyone complaining better upload a cover, and it has to be better than this (quality and all bitch).
