Notice that this video was highly praised when it first released and a lot of people really liked it but as soon as it became really popular and reached about over 4M views, that's when all of the negative comments started breaking out. That says a lot about our society.

Basically, we grew up knowing who Alyson was and her dancing. We admired her like hell and loved her and Missy's relationship. We all wanted to dance like Alyson, and still do.

Everyone is always talking about millennials and gen z not knowing this stuff or understanding it, but they don't seem to realize both generations grew up during the 90s and early 2000s, when Missy was really active, so I don't get what they're trying to say. And the funny thing is, they are apart of one of these generations, so if you know about it, others do, too. You're not that special one out of all of us, lol. Alyson would be a millennial, as well, for that matter, so it's even more ridiculous; they're just looking for ways to put whole generations down for literally no reason. It's silly.

I like how the dance starts with kids dancing on Work it just like Alyson did when she appeared alongside Missy, with the girl in the red tracksuit ending it with the same handstand step Alyson ends with on that song, before Alyson finally joins in. Sweet touch! Also loved some of the steps in the main choreography. Alyson, please make more videos of you dancing!

Just know you were my IDOL when I was a kid, Missy was my first album I ever bought! I sadly was born with two left feet but your drive and ability to be so great at such a young age truly gave me so much inspiration to just keep working and being myself. Kudos to you gal ❤️

She literally was all over Disney channel. Lol not some lil girl from the Missy video. People seems to forget that she played Max( tapeworm bff) on suite life of Zack and Cody, mike super short show,( when it was confusing doing their signature hand moves) camp rock(demi new best friend). She made songs for some of the Disney original movies back then( dancing in the moon light), the little girl in phineas and ferb (Isabella) and more. She was in cheaper by the dozen 1&2 (Taylor launter aka Elliot murta crush ). But no matter how many roles she plays, she will always be known as the little girl in Missy video aww lol

People? (don't assume) Smh keyword: *Some I remember growing up watching Suite Life and that's was the first time I saw her, she even did a bit of dancing in the show. Yes she was pretty much doing a lot in Disney stuff yet the first time I ever knew about her being the 'little girl in Missy Elliot's video' was when she was in Step Up. That's when I did some research, it was the other round for me.

Muscle memory. 24 hours is a blink for professional dancers. As Alyson said herself -those grooves don't ever leave you. So it was probably all she needed to rehearse. Having said that, it's my favourite Missy song, and Alyson's talent is out of this world. Not just the dancing but her music, and voice and the way she is so knowledgeable (different interview), and a beautiful person to boot.
