In particular, I focus on the liberties I took with the historical original, as well as a comparison between the Schnepper lock mechanism and the more common rolling nut lock. Schneppers were really cool. Although they weren't usually very powerful (up to 100-200kg normally), they were still great target crossbows. I think some 20th century swiss crossbows used the schnepper lock as well although I may be wrong.

Yep that’s right- and Belgian target crossbows used a modified version of the Schnepper lock starting in the 19th century; still used today.

In a classic rolling nut lock, the nut didn't spin on a central axle, but inside a socket. The socket took the larger portion of the load from the string. A cord through a hole in the nut retained it when the seer was released.

As a fan of crossbow, for me, can you modify it and add pistol grip? Only grip is only missing But that's just for me.

your crossbow kit mark 2, with the 120lb prod, whats the trigger pull, do you have a rough idea?

I’m not exactly sure-it’s pretty light though, with the length of the trigger lever.
