This isn't karaoke so stop complaining that this bands version of Evil is bad and or awful; that's just silly jabber, because it's not supposed to be an exact copy of Interpol's Evil, it is The Modern Savage's own unique version, aka (COVER) I think they did a great job and allowed me to enjoy one of my favourite songs in a totally different style. Good job girls!

The problem with this version is that it doesn't bring anything new to the song, they just re-recorded the song. What's the point of making a "cover" if you're just gonna do the exact same thing, and just add your voice to it?

I really love this cover. The pace is still quick, and even though the vocals are bright and clear, I love it. It's a nice contrast between the lyrics... sort of reminds me of some of the upbeat songs by the smiths that had rather dark lyrics.

In my *opinion*, the singing is too bright for the song. Nothing comparable to the slight monotone of the original.

I hate being this negative on an indie cover, but this is the most misguided cover of any song I've heard in years. I couldn't even make it a minute in before the anemic production and the vocals hitting so WRONG just made it impossible to go further. It's not even that complex of a song, either. This is like Yoko Ono trying to sing Bohemian Rhapsody-bad taste. Because I don't want to post the comment completely on the negative, the video is at least shot nicely and the dancers are good and make it interesting.
