This Sketchpad was created especially for the use with water-based markers - a strong difference to the conventional watercolor papers, which are made for brushes. The watercolor paper, which consists of a 100% cellulose, inhibits a strong bleeding through of the ink and has a different haptic on both sides of the sheet. Since we also care about our environment, the paper is absolutely acid-free and vegan!
This new generation of watercolor paper is dimensionally stable even after a large area covering with the wet inks. Contrary to classical watercolor papers, this paper needs not be soaked in water before applying - you get a great watercolor effect even on the dry surface! The colors are applied absolutely true to their nature, since the clear white paper does not lead to any color distortion.
The video shows the MOLOTOW Blackliner water-based ink working well on the sketchpad, no blurring with SKETCHER ink, water soluble, smooth color transitions and a teaser of 120 brilliant color shades possible with the SKETCHER!
