@thamerkules8081 So here's the thing. The joke is that in the show Loki, the stones are useless. And that is lore accurate. In the comics, when the infinity gems (as they are called in the comics) are taken out of the universe from which they originate, they become powerless. But to say that means none of what happened in the past decade mattered is completely wrong. Those events still happened in the main line universe of the Marvel movies. Characters are still reeling with the consequences of the stone saga. Just because the infinity stones are powerless in the TVA, all of those things in the Marvel movies still matter. Does that make a bit more sense?

Great twist though, reality doesn't work the same across every universe. Very plausible and perfect way to succinctly ground that as logic in the real world. Cosmic powers even have limitations that cannot surpass the laws of nature. Just cause you can bend them doesn't mean they will stay that way. Magic is more powerful by that definition in the comics.

Dragonball was a completely different setting, and even there it basically stopped scaling at "can destroy planets", or the fights wouldn't make any sense.

Actually it isn't. The stones still have power inside the time lines, but the TVA is outside time. The show takes places after the first Avengers movie at before Infinity War or Endgame by the end of series Loki is watching over infinite timelines who he has given free will to. So the show didn't ruin anything.
