Just to clarify guys from 4:10 and 4:45, I was NOT calling Stoke a horrible place in anyway whatsoever as I don’t usually say that about any place in the UK (unless it’s Exeter for the obvious jokes of being our rivals) but it was all banter and me using deliberate excuses to convince Schumacher to stay because as you can tell from this video, I’m clearly gutted devastated upset pissed off frustrated and just enduring so much pain from it all. Also it was me backing where I come from which is passion at the end of the day. Either way though, I would like to wish everyone at Stoke the best of luck for the rest of the season either way and still I hope we can beat them in April anyway so schuey realises what he’s done…..I’ve had another sleep and I’m still heartbroken, Happy Fricking Xmas Ho Ho Ho 😭💚

Schuey did us proud for years, two promotions and a cup final. We should be pleased fro him that he had a chance to advance his career and move back to be nearer his family. Please note, the board of directors were happy for him to speak to Stoke, and happy for him to leave. Why don't you sad fans grow up a bit eh? It's only a game of football after all. entertainment.

As a Stoke fan i am not happy about this either. There should be rules about taking managers from other clubs during the season. We have experienced this ourselves in the past and its not nice. Most Stoke fans are not thrilled with this appointment either as the board said the vacancy had attracted high quality applicants and , with all due respect, we expected a manager with a much higher profile. Leaving that aside, one thing we supporters must realise is that football managers are not fans. To them its just a job and if a better one comes along they will usually take it. Stoke have extremely wealthy owners who are also huge Stoke fans and they have invested huge sums into the club. They are the 5th richest owners in England, although the ffp rules prevent them from demonstrating that too often. We have a modern stadium, fantastic training ground and a category 1 academy. We are a premier league club in all but name and that will be the reason Schumacher decided to leave Plymouth. Every ambitious manager wants more resources to work with and at Stoke he will get that. I hope that you can find a decent manager who will keep you up and continue your impressive progress next year. All the best for the rest of the season.

💚⚽️💚Well said about poaching pre-season. It hurts. But you are getting a really decent bloke. Whether your players play for him or not remains to be seen otherwise it’s the pit and the pendulum for Shuey. I just hope we don’t poach dross. Our fear now is being in a relegation battle with you guys. Personally I think we’ve both good enough to stay up but some kind of momentum is needed and this move will stall us both to an extent.💚⚽️💚

5th richest owers maybe but they dont spend it on players or the stadium, Would not increase capacity till after 9 years in the prem and then increased it by a poor 1.800. Stood by and watched us get relegated sold our Premier status then sold our best players so no promotion anytime soon.

I'm a Stoke fan, i just wanted to say that i love your video. The love and passion for your club comes over and i really feel your dissapointment and anger at man you clearly loved and meant so much to you. Loved the rant on the champions league draw and top 6 clubs. There fans could never understand what you're feeling for your club. Obviously i hope that Schumacher proves you wrong and Stoke start moving upwards again and back to the Premier league as it's the only place to be in football. However the Stoke job does seem to be a poisoned chalice for any manager. Great video mate.

Feel so sorry for you guys as an Ipswich fan. Schuey did a fantastic job at getting you to beat us to the league one title last season considering how tight your budget is compared to us. Stoke did this mid season to us (Luton) and Sunderland too. Showing zero respect to their fans. We were devastated when Nathan Judas Jones left us the first time mid season to join Stoke. Then he did it mid season again to join Southampton. That was the greatest thing to have happened to us in recent years. We’ve got Super Robbie Edwards now. Schumacher has you in a relegation battle so maybe it’s not such a bad move for you.

Stoke fan here, pretty classless how we have swiped your manager. We did the same thing with Nathan jones who offered a similar model to what Schumacher is, that didn't work and neither will this. What Stoke need is a pragmatist, outside of the Saudi owned teams, there aren't many chairman with as much resources as ours...yet we still aim for pointless appointments like this

It's the equivalent to moving from a job in home bargains to Harrods. We have premier league facilities and the wage budget most teams in this league would adore. As a Stoke fan you must be even more annoyed when some of us fans don't even want him as manager, me being one this is a crap appointment by us an one that signals the direction we are heading. Getting a league one proven manager isn't the way you climb out of trouble in the championship. All the best you Green army boys! You have home form will help in a religation battle. As for our home form. We have non or away so yeah league one and Vale away next season

Im a Stoke fan and feel your pain. The reasons are obvious why hes gone to us. The fact is Stoke are a bigger club than Plymouth, Stokes recent history is far better than Plymouths, Stokes infastructure is set up for the Premier league and far better than Plymouths, Stoke can spend far more money than Plymouth ever could having one of the richest owners in football, Stoke is closer to his homeland and finally Stoke can offer him more wages....... and like it or not money talks. Im not trying to belittle Plymouth Argyle but just stating facts. We as football fans always slag off players and managers chasing money but lets face facts you cant tell me you wouldnt do the same, 5k a week at Plymouth or 10k at Stoke, what would you do? ( Im guessing at the wages) Theres no loyalty in football you should know that. I hope SS coming to Stoke will help to finally sort us out and wish you all the best for the future. BTW Take a chill pill, Youre gonna bust a blood vesel, As you get older you will realise football is what it is and its just not worth getting upset about, As a fan you have no control at what goes on at your club, you just have to go with the flow. @@samuelbarrett9403 Obviously football is all about opinions but i think anyone will tell you Stoke are the bigger club if you take everything into consideration. You mention away support, Plymouth on average this season have taken about 300 more away than Stoke, No doubt Plymouth are running on the crest of a wave on the back of last season so there is a lot of interest, Compare that to Stoke who have had 6 years of decline and fans have suffered. Stokes average this season are about 22k at home which isnt bad considering what weve had to endure compared to Plymouths 16k. Based on the above how can you argue. Im not coming the WE are better than you, i was just trying to explain why hes joined Stoke, And no doubt if by some miracle he does well he would move to a bigger better club than Stoke......thats football

Fans are loyal. Managers and players will look to better their career or a better salary. With Stoke, he feels the premier league is more attainable than at Argyle. We need to find someone that can sort out our defense, can get results away from home but still play attractive football. Look at it as a new chapter.

Lol, hope you've calmed down now. I agree it's frustrating losing our manager, especially at this stage of the season, but I think your anger is misplaced. We have a chairman telling us we're going to be a sustainable Championship club whilst paying the manager a League 1 wage, of course Schuey was gonna leave for more money sooner or later, the club should've looked after him better. Holloway left because the then BoDs weren't going to back him and they sold all our top players a month or so later. The same happens every time we reach the 2nd tier. Now for the other side of the coin and look at things another way. Schuey done great for us in League 1 but struggled this season, especially away from home. With the compensation maybe now the Board can go and secure a manager with experience at this level. Mowbray worked wonders with Sunderland's young players and got them to the play-offs. Nathan Jones and John Eustace aren't too shabby either. There's still plenty of light at the end of the tunnel, over to the board. Edit to add, I typed this while you were still ranting and before you mentioned Mowbray & Eustace, see it's not all bad. I'd happily take Warnock until the end of the season.

It's understandable that an aspiring manager will want to move to a "bigger" club (note I didn't say "better"). That being said, Stoke City is not a wise choice. Despite the club's wealth and recent sojourn in the Prem, the job is a poisoned chalice. Whether he'll be at Stoke this time next year is debatable.

I feel sorry for Plymouth fans but let's be honest the Stoke job is probably the most cursed job in football so we'll most likely see another one sacked in 12 months time but anything can happen and it may work out. Has for the comparing of how each place is like to live in no Stoke player or management live in Stoke so that argument is a none starter, I get it your annoyed but if that's all you've got it proves how little you are also there was a poll that suggests Plymouth is actually worse than Stoke to live in ( Plymouth 26, Stoke 28 in top 50 ) Just take it on the chin he's moved to a bigger club which at the moment results wise may not be better than Plymouth but the talent, facilities at Stoke is much better too although both owners are similar. Lastly most managers aren't attached to a club or area it's a job at the end of the day so loyalty is not a guarantee and just appreciate what Schumacher did for you and let him take that next step. I actually typed a compassionate, reasonable message & deleted it as this video went on because I don't think it would get a genuine response & ended up talking UTTER WAFFLE basically half way through - hopefully your emotions get in check. I get your frustration & I understand the hurt, venting is fine...your fans are excellent, your club is excellent, basically learn a lesson from this - football is an awful business from top to bottom. I agree the timing isn't the best,but he has gone to a more ambitious club,bigger everything from top to bottom, I think you've got a lovely well run club there but we have really wealthy owners who try there best to give the managers the right tools for the job,SS Is ambitious himself so he maybe thinks this is the ideal platform to further his career to go on to the next step

We all leave jobs for a pay rise. You clearly love your club, but this is these peoples jobs we are talking about. If a rival company came to me and said you can do the same job for triple the wage id snap their hand off. You're disillusioned if you think a manager should stay at any club for reasons other than wages.

Didn’t Ryan lowe leave because of an incident within the club that could have ruined his marriage? - that was the route cause not money, as for the latest one well he clearly wasn’t happy with his money so he’s improved that even if he lasts half a season and gets pushed, it’s only football.

Let him go...greed spoils foorball as it apoils life these days. Plymouth will dig deep and move on. No place for money grabbing scousers. Move on, we need a humble, hard-working replacement who wants to live here long term. He was great in League One, but he didn't have a proper plan for the next level up. Our defense is terrible and needs someone who can bring solidity as well as flair. Move on and keep investing in the big picture.

Why dont some fans understand there manager is not a fan of there club he is an employee. Would this fan be kicking off like he does when Plymouth one day sacked him, its the only guraantee in football. Managers are not going to be loyal to clubs when clubs are not loyal to managers. Being in Championship is a dream for Plymouth, anyway when Stoke sack him he can go back.
