For it being 444 ci or 7.3 it needs cam and head work before it's even viable for hp then comes the cost of it which you'd be better going big cube sbf or bbf.

Love this engine and I hope the aftermarket stays with this engine. Problem is, Ford needs to drop this in more vehicles. Won’t be a true LS competitor unless the availability is there.

@@Joebauers2505 yeah but the Coyote is arguably harder to work on and more expensive. Don’t get me wrong I just picked up a gen 2 and I know they are superior engines. But for what I want to do (no prep street racing) the bigger low end torque push rod engines are the best for that. Especially for the 8th.

@@yaboykris2118 - also no if you knew anything about coyotes and dohc engine is they make torque lots of it no one buys ls for torque and that’s not how engines work. LOL cheap junkyard cookie cutter build that’s what the ls is. Cleetus went 7’s with a stock Godzilla potential is insane way better than lt or ls or gen 3 “hemi”. All this engine needs is time so prices drop and have more availability that’s all no discussion about it being a better engine, it’s a fact that it is.

Pretty neat. I've always been and probably will be into the older engines like the windsors but it's cool to see a stock engine run deep into the 11s. If this car had some gear more weight reduction and some better tires this thing would be fast. Also tremec would be cool
