@@propheticzeal sarcasm will not make your Pastor’s statement correct. He is talking BS! These pastors want people to give only to them. You don’t need God to tell you to give to the poor. That instruction was long issued by Christ himself. So no need to pray to ask who to give. You have a needy neighbor, that’s who you give. You don’t have to give to a rich pastor

@@sifisomagagula5476 you don’t know that he is a successful business man, not only a preacher. And if the Holy Spirit is not guiding your giving, who is the one who is guiding your giving? Is it guided by your flesh, by your emotions? As children of God we are led by the Spirit of God in this life, even in giving (see Romans 8:14). And if you think giving to the poor is the only form of giving, you haven’t read your Bible. May God deliver you from your ignorance, because I see that the devil has deceived you and tried to bring you down, but I pray God would deliver you from the spirits attacking your mind in Jesus’ name.

@@sifisomagagula5476 also giving to ministry is different than just giving to the preacher. This money is for advancing God’s Kingdom, not for the preacher to horde up all the wealth by it.

Call me ignorant all you like, the fact is you find in villages people living in mud huts and children walking to school barefoot and the only nice building being a church, and the only person with a car being a pastor because “the spirit” tells poor people to give to the church.
