I remember listening to Jeff fenech who was the trainer of the Mexican fighter who Naoya beat to win his first belt, jeff fenech said he is the best fighter he has seen in years and it will take a once in a lifetime fighter to beat him or he moves up to quickly.

The best and most complete fighter in the world by far! He can take out opponents with a variety of shots...like his famous liver shot, or the short sharp overhand right he took out both Donaire and Jason Moloney with, or that vaunted left hook that has felled other opponents. His ring IQ is off the charts. He's as quick as a rabbit, vicious as a mongoose, and powerful as a thoroughbred race horse. He's been in waters deeper than any of his other p4p rivals have ever been and came out victorious (Donaire 1). And he insists on fighting only the best fighters available, and would never duck anyone. For as long as he's in his prime, no one is going to beat him anytime soon, no matter which weight class he chooses to fight in.

Boxing in many ways being a former karate practitioner exemplifies all of the upper body philosophies we would teach and learn. Inoue takes that to the next level. Fantastic analysis, man. I'll say that in addition to what you mentioned, Inoue's jab is also probably an important tool for him to gauge distance. Pinpoint liver blows from are rarely the signature moves of boxers since they are pretty difficult to pull of reliably, especially by a boxer who isn't constantly within clinching range . For Inoue to pull this off, he needs to have an extremely accurate sense of the distance between him and his opponent at any given time. And using the jab to check and confirm range impressions can be really vital in that sense. For future analyses, maybe you could do a piece on Vitali Klitschko. Sure, he's been retired for quite a while, but I think there's next to no analytical coverage on him on KZfaq. Which is a real shame considering how unique his boxing style - especially the jab - was.
@BoxingLife
@BoxingLife 2 жыл бұрын
Thank you man! Glad you enjoyed! Very good point on the jab, it's a great weapon to gauge how close you are before you throw those powerful shots. Yeah thats sounds like interesting one to do! Will definitely put him on the list for the future, appreciate that suggestion!

@PjYogiBear
@PjYogiBear Жыл бұрын
@@BoxingLife Great to hear! Should be super interesting to see how Fulton and his team might strategize. I've been going back to watch some of Fulton's milestone fights, particularly the Roman and Leo fights. Pity the full Leo fight isn't up there yet, though, cuz of Fulton's bodywork there. Inoue's levels above those guys, though. He just has the fundamental skills, footwork, IQ, big fight experience, and all the tools in his armoury to get the job done, imo.. Seeing how Fulton's been talking about the fight, seems he might try to capitalize on any chance he can to get Inoue on the back foot and work Inoue's the body, just like Haney did against Loma, and like he did against Leo.. Inoue is linearly in and out in a flash. Will Fulton really be able to take on Inoue up close, tie him up and turn him over? Boxing Gems and others have Fulton as having the certain advantage at close quarters. But Inoue's short right counters with little tell are lethal, hard to see coming. Could we even see Inoue showing aspects of his skillset that he's worked on in preparation to entering the these higher weight classes with bigger fighters where he mightn't be able to rely on his one-punch ko power alone to get the job done? Inoue has said he's approaching his next fights completely differently, only starting with this fight. I would love to see him work with Ismael Salas in the near future for that reason too.. Fulton's footwork is slick, but Inoue's is probably equal to it and he's virtually always in position and balanced to offensively counter, fast.. So, yeah, so looking forward to seeing your take on possible approaches Team Fulton could have success with for a decisive win... And it's a very different kind of pressure Fulton will experience after the bell rings in his ear come 25 July lol.. Thanks and all the best for your great work, mate 👍🏾✊🏾

People need to slow down, he took way to much damage against an old Nonito Donaire, showing he is not a P4P fighter yet. I've seen P4P lists with him above Tyson Fury wtf!
@BoxingLife
@BoxingLife 2 жыл бұрын
He is a three weight division world champion...will probably win in more by the time he done. Donaire may have also been past his best, but sometimes older guys can still perform on the night.

Buddy i think you do not know who Nonito Donair is, he is a 4 division champ and former p4p also a future hall of famer. Now I would have agreed to your point only if Naoya has been taking punishment from a cab driver or a youtube boxer. In The Flash vs The Monster fight, the flash was not a tomato can. People like you are very strange because you want to see a good fight and when you see a good fight you complain that other fighter got bitten up. Make up your mind man in contact sports you will get pop couple of times no mater how good you are, coz both fighter train their ass off. Now regarding your fav Tyson Fury, first Naoya is higher then Tyson Fury because the way he is dominating in his division, can you say the same for Fury? What about Charlo who ppl thik is a p4p but went all the way to 12 rounds with Montiel any comments on that. Also I have see Tyson fury and Anthony fights man these heavy weight people are slow as fuck and sleeps during fights so boring, by the time it was 4th round both of them were hugging and sleeping in each other shoulders you say those fights a dominating one? common man.

Nope! Read boxing magazines and face the reality than believing your idol's big mouth. Casimero was the one ducked Inoue by declining the pay cut due to covid. Further, Inoue even warned Casimero to watch his weight and pass the weight-in so Inoue and Casimero's fight really happens. Look what happened now, Casimero didn't make the weight-in. Some promoters even mentioned Inoue should really be the No.1 p4p because he never decline offers while Canelo picks opponents, so Inoue is very promotable. Stop being jealous and ask Casimero to manage his weight lol

@@TheSilverlover999 Ah that boring and the worst fight which landed the least punches of the year and Casimero fans are the only ones praising him, LOL. How funny non-Filipinos are criticizing Casimero that he couldn't cut off the ring, can't catch that 40+ yo man. Then Casimero fans like u claim Rigo beat Donaire which was 7-8 yrs ago, haha!!!! Perhaps has Casimero ever been in the p4p ranking in his boxing career?! Congrats!! 🤣🤣🤣

Pacquiao in his prime must have beat Inoue with such ease. I noticed Inoue has two fatal weaknesses: speed and reflexes. His speed and refexes are fair enough even to most world class fighters. But any fighter with the speed of Pacquiao or Mayweather can easily beat him without getting a single hit. If you carefully watch the match against Donaire, you would notice Inoue allows a lot of punches and Inoue's punches look lacking in confidence and usual explosive power. That is because Inoue was afraid of Donaire's speed. Any fighter who is speedier than Donaire can KO Inoue in early rounds. You can bet on my observation. Then, will Inoue be able to compensate for the weaknesses? I am pessimistic because speed and reflexes are what you were born with. The elements are simply too congenital. And they are in the genes, whose composition is mostly accidental.

You totally blew your assessment of Inoues speed and reflexes. He faster, stronger and has better reflexes. Donaire has experience and Inoue knows it. Have you watched Inoues fights? He’s beating his opponents to the punch in most exchanges.
