oh this game. I played it on newgrounds awhile ago. Boy I thought it was pretty good then, looks like it's grown up.

This game is awesome. I just beat it last night - caught every monster in the game and finished all the champions and did the main story and it was an incredible experience. The metroidvania aspects and monster customization and team building are top notch for either genre. It's not easy either - you actually have to use all the mechanics available to you to do well rather than just pick type advantages on a type chart.

It feels like grown up Pokémon. I like it for the complexity. Makes sense why Pokémon never evolved the formula really

I like how this game lets me stack status effects and melt my foes into oblivion

The boss in this game is actually challenging. Unlike pokemon, where a single over-leveled pokemon can carry you through the whole game. I grab this game during Switch sale and it quickly became one of the best buy I had in a long time. If you like monster collecting and team building, this game is a no brainer

That feeling when you start watching a game review and then buy the game half way through it :D

One of the things i immediatly loved about this game is how team battles are mandatory and thus you can build entire teams that synergy off one another's skills and passives, example: Dracozul has a passive that increases damage of all dragon monsters by 75% and depending on the element of their attacks it'll do a special debuff (burning if fire, chill if water, poison if earth etc) even if the attack originally didn't had that secondary effect, thanks to this i made my entire "Team B" be nothing but dragons that synergized off with one another (also Night-Shifted that Dracozul so he had "Blacksmith" as passive which raises the hp, attack, magic and defence stats his teamates get out of items equipped so double bonus for the whole team just for existing...btw that Dracozul is entirely offensive DPS, is not the support piece of the team even thought it grants all that lol).

I love this game

Evolution is the visual representation of the monster growth. So I think it is an integral part of monster games. Especially digimon has an amazing evolution system.

Not into these monster-breeding games, but I enjoyed the video nevertheless. I think I'd go for this one first if I ever change my mind. Unlike Pokemon, this one at least has a tactical element to it. I remember you when you were 1.7k, and it was recently! You're one of the fastest-growing channels out there, so I'm sure you'll get your 50k on time, maybe more, don't even worry about it. As a desperate measure, perform some kind of collab or something.
