Its sad how Scorpion is low tier as hell in this game. At least with 11 he was decent, but nope.Not in this one. Ed boons favorite character indeed. Lets be real with ourselves, mk11 Scorpion was better if you knew how to use him. That's just my opinion.

As a Scorpion main I agree the struggle is real. And I'm too stubborn to choose a more optimal kameo because I love having Scorp and Sub as a team for the lore. I've found a way to make them work most of the time though. Just gotta' be patient and pick your moments.

@@vincentgiaccio2002 Yeah that’s true. The portion where people complain that he’s hard to use is probably him trying to play neutral. You have to ulitlize his arsenals properly or else you’ll get caught easy. Cuz if opponent is too close, you can’t really do much. If opponent jumps and you f2, your kinda fuched. And if you try to apply pressure he hardly has any mixups. And if you use overhead sento your extremely negative, while everyone and their mothers just block it easy. I struggle so hard to even come close to opening up an opponent with Kenshi due to how limited he is with that. He’s for sure more of a punish, and setup character.

Anyone you outrage is someone you have an advantage against, play your distance. AS a stubby Li Ei I struggle against a Scorpion that is at jumping distance, shimmy to catch them wiffing

As a Shang player Shang is definitely top 10. He's zoning is so good and you kinda cant have a bad matchup because morph exist. Also 30% combo because u caught someone full screen with a skull is a thing

As a scorpion and Baraka main I agree with the tier list. Scorpion is pretty bad and struggles but that is what makes winning with him so satisfying and Baraka is still broken with his good kit. P.S. great vid keep up the good work. You and Coryxkenshin are my favorite KZfaqrs

As a Kenshi main, he is one of the harder characters to play in the game with not only having two stances but also understanding Sento. I’ve faced Kenshi mains and your goal is to just not make Kenshi take out Sento at all and force them to play Base Kenshi. He is top 3 in the game but he is super hard to play

As a kenshi main, yes he is harder than other characters in the game but calling him super hard to play is a massive stretch. He is still pretty easy just has a massive move list and takes a little longer to learn everything.

I wouldnt say most accurate in terms of in order but in terms of S A and B its accurate maybe knock a few Ss down and an A or 2 down to B and its pretty solid. And this list obviously implies using their most optimal kameo and combos... So the only character id change is Omniman to S tier

This is honestly a great list. Especially from the perspective of somebody who hasn’t played every character, but rather observed their play styles from fighting against them. It’s pretty insane how pretty much everyone agrees on Scorpion being the worst. Like out of all the characters, the literal mascot of the franchise is the worst!?

I day one MK1 and I picked up Tanya and Lei Mei. Tanya is definitely complex but she definitely takes some skill to master and you are right about her not having damage, but then again I like that because the trade-off is you are also right about her not letting her opponent play the game so if you pair her with frost or Serena your opponent is not going to have a good time. Lei Mei can be somewhat beginner-friendly but she is also the same as Tanya, Complex but good if you train enough,also if you jump 3 your opponent in a corner with Lei Mei you can easily 1,2 spam them for damage. Annoying strat: use her with Stryker and just zone with lantern, nova blast and Stryker grenades. I got so many rage quits 😂.Anyway I was playing them two for months and I stumbled upon one of the best Kenshi's I've ever seen in my life. In that moment of getting 0-3 I just said screw it and picked Johnny Cage. He is not lying about Johnny carrying bad players because I have only seen gameplay of Johnny Cage and I have never seen the input commands for him but yet I knew exactly what buttons to press and what combo lead into another one😂 And I ended up winning. He got on the mic and said I was trash because I was playing the best character meanwhile, I'm just laughing because I Don't know Jack sh!t about Johnny and yet I won. After that I beat him a good five more times and on the 5th go he got caged(he used his fatal blow at close range then I ended up using mine as well so I parry his fatal blow) and rage quit😂😂

I recently picked up Scorpion. So far it's more rewarding than playing Sub Zero. Stryker helps with both lows and overheads. Sub Zero has more Kameo options but they're all matchup specific.
