On the truck hauling the cars what happens if the hydraulic system fails besides loading & unloading but in transit also ?? Yes your thumbnail pictures are never seen in your videos .

Usually a mechanical locking system similar to the two and four post lifts used in a garage for repairs. They are commonly spring operated and allow the deck to lift but engage to prevent it dropping in transit or if the lift mechanism fails. Some transporters use pins the driver inserts into the lifting mechanism to lock the decks onto place. It's advisable drivers insert the pins during loading/unloading to minimise the distance a suspended deck can drop in the event of a hydraulic failure.
