I love how campy the fantasy media was in the 80s and 90s. Like, there's not always this groundbreaking world building and story, it was usually just as simple as "The hero must use the Sword of Power to defeat the dark wizad Galgamort at the summit of Mount Fargornak!" And just it worked so well.

Hey, they did it it right with Xena! I feel like most people don't care if the show or movie is woke. We just want fun, interesting characters that have some depth to them.

Oh boy, this game. I remember renting it and never being able to beat the final boss. I thought knocking out the pillars would do it, but that just kills you.

Thanks! :) Mulan is a great example and I couldn't agree more. I hate when games make the men weak and incapable and then a strong woman shows up and takes on the whole military by herself. Haha. There's other ways to make women badass, I just wish developers would see that.
